Kanna Niwas has gifted me many beautiful memories. Sitting on the wooden swing and reciting Ramraksha and Ganapati Stotra reminded me of my childhood days at the maternal home in Konkan. Reading book in this quite place, rays of rising Sun filtering on my face , swinging slowly was divine. Kanna Niwas is aesthetically crafted and the selection of paintings and artifacts show the rich cultural taste of the owner. I loved the wooden bed , so comfortable. The typical Red and Green Tamil heritage flooring reminded me of my Tamil friend's home at Matunga. The home stay is designed keeping in mind every minute necessary detail the visitors would like to have. Communication with the manager and the care taker was the best. Very helping. Very clean, neat and sophisticated living here. I loved the place. Thank you so much. Would love to come again and again and again

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this wonderful traditional homestay. Came all the way from Coimbatore to Thanjavur and found another real but cozy home 🙂 The house itself is beautifully preserved, offering a glimpse into the rich cultural heritage of the area. What truly set this homestay apart, however, was the personal touch – the hosts went above and beyond to ensure my stay was comfortable. My age old parents felt happy that it was pretty silent around, away from vehicle sounds and busy streets. Thanks Selvi, the best incharge. You are kind enough to make our stay memorable.

Very neat place good location close proximity to all the sightseeing places, host Kalaiselvi is extremely helpful special thank to her. And she wil also provide with a auto person details who took us around the city, and he showed amazing food joints and shopping place.
