Arangan kudil

I'll share the positives first. 1. The proximity to the temple. It'll hardly take 5 minutes in a vehicle to reach the temple. 2. The flexibility. For the ungodly hour at which we reached this place and given our check out time, other hotels charged me for 2 days. They did not even budge but Arangan Kudil was an exception. Of course I had to pay extra. I was given the room for 2800 with the split up being 1800 for 1 day and 1000 extra for their flexibility in given us the room. 3. The mattress was comfortable and the AC did it's job perfectly. 4. There's an empty space opposite to the rooms where cars can be parked. I'm not sure how long that space would be empty or if it's owned by the same person who also owns this place. Negatives: 1. What even is this room and the restroom was our first reaction. It was definitely small for a family of 4 adults. Of course there was a sofa and a couple of extra mattress but the was no place to put those mattress. The small restroom was such an eyesore. The restroom and the potty were clean no doubt, but the place was so small and God only knows, for some reason, there was a very bad and pungent smell that just didn't go despite using room fresheners and deos. 2. Water bottles are not free of cost, though they have water cans on each level which are dirty. 3. I saw a lizard and a couple of cockroaches running in and out of the AC. 4. There are no eateries or shops atleast for 500 meters on either side of the hotel. 5. There was no service provided but we were asked for tips by the person in charge there stating room boy tips. I was tired to argue and dished out some money. But there was literally nothing that he did for us to pay him money, even if it's a paltry sum.

A Good place to stay. Neat and clean service apartment. You have a TV, a sofa, and an A/C on all the rooms. Do check it out when you plan to visit srirangam or anywhere nearby.

Only if you want to stay in a place near Srirangam temple, opt for this. A .eter auto will cost roughly Rs 70. Accessibility to other places will be difficult if you rely on public transport. All the bad reviews I have seen remain the same. Cockroaches on the bed, Lizards on the walls and the attendant who asks for a tip for cleaning but not cleaning. The water bucket was with the left over water from the previous client when I checked in. The water sprayer in the toilet is leaky keeping the bathroom floor wet all the time. They don't even provide bath towels. The rooms stink with Naphthalene smell. Complete residential area with no small shops or eateries within walking distance.

Excellent place at affordable price. A/c and lift are there . After darshan had very good sleep. Little faraway from coffee/tea shop. Take a flask .

The room needs significant cleaning. The bathroom lacks an exhaust fan, the bedsheets and pillows are very old and dirty, and there are insects and cockroaches roaming everywhere.

The house is located in a calm area and its easily accessible to the main temple. It has 2 bedrooms with AC, hall, and kitchen with few utensils. Owner was courteous enough to call multiple time to check if facilities are good. It's a good place for family

Nice place to stay slightly away from the heavy traffic area. Plus points - Good accommodation whether it is a double bed room or service apartment type (2 BHK). AC, bathroom heaters working good. Worth the price paid. Staff are very nice and obedient/helpful. Minus points - A slight improvement on housekeeping is the need of the hour. May be the owners shud think of having a mini kitchen with basic need for hot coffee and tea.

Absolute joke and mockery of a hotel. They will confirm the booking and then later state it is not available. The contact number given has the worst possible signal and the contact person hardly helps. I am sure majority of the good reviews are fake. Stay here to improve your patience levels. I would have given a 0 if I had that option. Horrible , horrendous and bad hotel to stay. Avoid this hotel for your own good. It's better to sit at a bus stop for a day in stead of staying at this dirty and stinking hotel.
