Room was new and well cleaned. You can order food as well but it wasn't good. View was amazing.

This homestay is one of the best in Valparai. The hill view room (room no. A2) they gave us room which is quiet small but comfortable. Bigger rooms are also available. The owner is just awesome, he has good character. And the food is also good. The balcony view was too good. They charged 1500 for triple bed room with balcony hill view.

Selected this HomeStay as a last choice since everything has been sold out and regret the same. Quite pricy for the room offered and the worst part is the parking and room is quite far. No proper parking space and high risk of damages as well and I have witnessed a damage of adjacent car during my stay which is expected and I should say I was lucky. Bit a money minded guy and cheat you with fake bills, as I was in hurry for check out so didn’t check the addition and never expected fraudulent like this and he doesn’t give u response on the same whch means it’s a pre planned one. Felt him like a money heist in simple word. Ambience is poor and not suited for family.. ppl are drinking around the common place and it looks like a bar. Not suited for family stay at all. Be careful to choose this place for your stay. Only good thing here is the view from hotel but later I noticed that it’s common around the Valparai so nothing special at this place.

I have stayed at Mr Alwyn's home for couple of days and it was a great place to stay. Rooms are with attached bath, very cleanly maintained with beautiful view to the tea estates. Mr Alwyn is very polite and served tasty home food at a reasonable price, with a requested menu during the stay. Drinking water was also provided. He helped with key places to be visited which helped to plan my day.

Nice cottage in valparai town itself. Malayali owner who deals very politely with guests. Rooms are also clean and well maintained.
