Ammaiappan Homestay

Wide and broad rooms with two or three cots. Nice estate view rooms helps to you sleep and dream more. Rooms are not as expected. Not Clean and not maintained properly. You can have lizards as a good company for you. Can negotiate to get better price. Suitable to stay only one night and not recommended for long stay.

Rooms are spacious with big cots (3 nos.) easily upto 9 pax can fit. Only one attached bathroom. Not suitable for families doesn't have privacy as it is transparent from outside walkway. 0.5kms from Lakshmi vilas hotel. Food provided by Ammaiappan cottage is average.

Very Poor communication and arrogant nature . Tried to book the room but there is no online payment through the website . Will not give any information about the rates and rooms. Always tells you to transfer the money into their account and hangs up the phone. The way they communicate i don't believe they are trustworthy nor will give you a good service. Not recommending at all.

Was at Valparai during the period 14th May to 18th May and stayed to AmmaiAppan Homestay. They also arrange for pick-up and drop from Coimbatore. This is the place where they take money more than what was promised. There is no standard method for arriving at the price for transportation. They don't provide any receipts for stay / transportation. No email communication whatsoever.

Decent homestay. They have a family room in ground floor and double, triple rooms in first floor. Views will be good at the backside.

Nice place to stay in Valparai.. Actually it is a homestay and homely food available.. Beautifull Tea Plantations are behind the Homestay.. Cozy place. Not much expensive.

Wrost homestay.. photos are fake.. no good service.. sometimes water is not coming.. we have to go and ask each and every time.. don't go for it

Hospitable people. Nice view of the tea estates in the backyard. Spacious rooms.
