Super host!! Location is walkable distance to the tank church. Rooms were spacious and clean. Thanks to the host for a wonderful stay. Will recommend this place especially if ur travelling with pets.

Location of house is very close to Morning star church. You can easily walk to church. Rooms are big and okay. We got a room for 3 adults and 2 kids and we got two big beds joined together. A small tv was hanged on the top. Only some Tamil channel on it, not a single cartoon channel not even free ones. They have sufficient breakfast and were promt to respond. But they can atleast remove broom and other cleaning supplies from the room. Even as you step outside, there are more cleaning items at the door. Still bathroom can be cleaner. At the same price, nearby hotels can be opted.

I've sent one whole day here with my family.comfortable ... spacious room with A/C.Neat and clean room.Clean wash room with hot water facility.Breakfast in not free, but for us they've provided as complimentary.

This is a decent homestay in a quiet place (Madhakulam / Kamarajar road) and walkable to old church/Holy pond church. Very spacious AC rooms with two big beds enough for 4-5 people, with clean bathrooms and common water heater. Can improvise further on having big mirrors instead of smaller ones. From the terrace we can see the Jesus statue and Morning star church backside. Dealing with Mr. Vinoth was great, their family were proactive in extending their suggestions and support during our stay. Small small issues they have rectified quickly to make our stay pleasant. Provided with complementary breakfast (from Hotel Saravanabhavan) and Tea/coffee from their house whenever requested. They have a kitchen and can cook for you as well for a reasonable charge. Walkable distance to main road for any purchases or auto. Absolutely safe with street lights and few sweet shop vendors open till 11pm. Worth a try from the regular crowded lodges/hotels/rooms.

Those who visit Shrine Velankanni and interested in enjoying some peaceful and comfortable homestay, could very well come here and stay. This property is very close to Madhakulam Church and one could see the domes of "Morning Star Church" from the balcony. Location is calm and quiet and this is a Home converted into a Homestay. The property owner is residing in the ground floor and 3 four bedded rooms are on the first floor. The Rooms are comfortable with AC, Shelf, Two tables and three chairs. Vinodth's Mother is a kind lady, who offers Coffee to every visitor and they provide a good soap, towel, shampoo and complementary Bisleri water bottle to every room. Vinodth's Dad has frequently enquired about our well-being. Such a nice family and I'm sure everyone who comes and stays here may experience the same feeling. There are only two things to be done here for an even better stay . 1) For all the three rooms only a Common Geyser is provided and whenever we need Hot water, we should go there and bring it. 2) Ample Car Parking Space is there for 3 cars but no restroom facilities for the drivers, not even a washbasin outside.
