Sweet Home Stay, Yelagiri - Highly Recommended! I stayed at Sweet Home Stay, Yelagiri with my wife for our anniversary celebration, and honestly, it turned out to be one of the most peaceful and memorable stays we have had. The property is a full house, which gives you complete privacy, comfort, and a very warm homely feeling. The cleanliness was excellent — the room, bathroom, and overall property were maintained beautifully. The bed was very comfortable, the place felt completely safe at night, and the overall atmosphere was calm, private, and relaxing. The location is truly special. You are surrounded by greenery in every direction, with beautiful mountain views, fresh air, and a peaceful natural setting. The morning experience was the highlight for us — waking up to such a calm view, enjoying our tea and coffee, and simply sitting there surrounded by nature felt amazing. They also had a proper tea and coffee setup in the room with a kettle and sachets, which added a nice hotel-like comfort to the homestay experience. A very special mention to Arun, the owner. He is truly a gem of a person. I had made a small personal request for our anniversary, and he genuinely took care of it with so much warmth. That personal touch made our celebration even more special. He is polite, helpful, caring, and the kind of host who makes you feel genuinely welcomed, not just checked in. Food options are available within a short drive, and the main places around Yelagiri are also easily accessible. But what really stands out is the peaceful location, the privacy, the cleanliness, the greenery, and Arun’s wonderful hospitality. For the price, this is 1000% value for money. It is very hard to find this level of comfort, privacy, cleanliness, nature, and genuine hospitality at this value anywhere else. Highly recommended for couples, families, and anyone looking for a peaceful stay in Yelagiri. Sweet Home Stay truly lives up to its name — it feels like a sweet little home surrounded by nature. Thank you, Arun, for making our anniversary stay so beautiful and memorable. We would definitely love to visit again.
