We 100% recommend this place for your stay in Agra. In this homestay you will be embraced by the family of 4 generations and will explore a bit of the typical Indian family life via: Fantastic Indian cooking with fresh and home-made vegetables from breakfast to dinner, each dish a new surprise. Furthermore you will enjoy their sublime hospitality and feeling of being home. |The location is perfect: In the midst of the busy Agra, the homestay has their own property which provides a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere. Nice garden with flowers and vegetables. It is nearby Taj Mahal and Agra Fort, easy to arrange a rickshaw for this via homestay. |The rooms are very clean and large, WIFI works good. All in all, when in Agra again we will definitely go here!

The first thing we appreciated about staying at Heritage Homestay was the wonderful and genuinely warm hospitality that we recieved from the whole family, and the care taken by Mr. Singh to ensure that we were not taken advantage of by unscrupulous tuk tuk drivers etc. The second thing to appreciate about it was the large and very quiet grounds of the property, tucked quietly away from the incessant noise of the main roads etc. where many other hotels are located, yet pretty much smack dab in the middle of Agra and walking distance from Sadar Bazaar; Agra is not so much a walking friendly town.. It's an old and large English officers home from the Raj era, now home to the extended Singh family, making this a genuine 'homestay'. The room we stayed in is large with ensuite bathroom with adequate hot water, and a heater is provided should it be cold, which warmed the room well. Breakfast was provided at our requested times, with complimentary large bottled water and juice poppers which we would take on our day's adventures. ||||We thoroughly enjoyed out stay, will miss their company, and would gladly return if we ever pass through Agra again.

This is a true "family homestay", as the Singh family has opened their 4 generation home to guests. They are warm, hospitable and helpful to make your stay as enjoyable and memorable as possible. The rooms are large, clean and comfortable with hot water and good Wifi. We did get a few mosquito bites at night (no nets provided), but this was offset by the wild peacocks just outside our window!|| One of the beauties about homestays is being able to converse with the host families and the Singh's were no exception. We enjoyed learning about Agra, Sikh/Hindu religions and daily Indian life/issues from them. If desired, they will arrange tuk tuk and/or taxis (including pickup from train station) at fair prices.|| The included breakfast is a hearty,fresh and tasty potato stuffed paratha, curds (yogurt), coffee/tea and juice. Per prior reviewers advice, we asked for a homemade dinner (extra but nominal cost) which was a delicious assortment of various vegetarian dishes- highly recommended! In fact after this we asked Vinoo (hostess) if she would consider teaching Indian cooking to future guests, she enthusiastically agreed, so IF YOU WANT TO LEARN DELICIOUS VEGETARIAN INDIAN COOKING, ASK IN ADVANCE OF YOUR STAY!!! When we go back to Agra, Heritage will be our top choice for homestay AND we'll be sure to take a cooking class from Vinoo!

We stayed for one night on a flying trip through Agra (you really dont need to spend more than that in Agra to see the keys sights). The homestay is in a quiet location away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Our room was large, very clean with a view over the rear garden (and the peacocks) and the bed was surprisingly comfortable. The shower in the bathroom had good pressure and hot water. Breakfast was sufficient for our needs for the day. Mr and Mrs Singh were both friendly. The one downside during our stay was that the doorbell was out of action and understandably the front door was kept locked, so it was a bit tricky getting in and out as you had to find a member of the household first! All in all, a bargain for the price.

We only had one night stay at this home. Our room was spacious and had a clean bathroom. Bathroom was chilly because it was winter but thank goodness there was hot water. The owners of this home were friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was simple but adequate if you're not a big eater. They had a lovely garden with mustard plants which had yellow blooms. Guests should keep their expectations reasonable because this is someone's actual home and not a professionally run hotel.

After our bad experience in our previous homestay in Delhi, we were a bit worried since this one was 60% cheaper. Thankfully we got a lot better for a fraction of the price. So in terms of value for your buck, this is probably as good as it gets. If it's cleanliness, spaciousness and hospitality are all that is required, your basic needs are generally met.

Place has been full of comfort with big and clean rooms. Host Family was really kind and helpful. Family always ready to explain festival of India anytime. Food was was really yummy and well priced. We will love to stay there again.

We stayed at Heritage Homestay for only one night but were very happy with our stay. The rooms were basic, large and exceptionally clean. Breakfast was simple yet adequate to start your day. Would definitely recommend this homestay to others.
