Gable Homestay

This one of the best home stays I have ever stayed in. Darshan ji the owner of the property is very humble and down to earth person. Prakash bhaiya the care taker here, is so helpful and active in providing the services that make you feel home here. I really liked the simplicity and cleanliness of the rooms. Food of this place has its own aroma and authentic pahadi taste. Days and nights are so tranquillising at this place that you would if you can spend more and more time here. I want to thank Dharshan ji, his family and his entire staff to keep our stay here so memorable. I will surely come back to this place if I happen to visit Almora again.

Recently I stayed 3 days in Gable homestay with family, Food cooked and served by Mr Prakash was delicious and hygienic. Property is well maintained, clean, and with a great mountain view, highly recommended My daughter loves it most, it's child friendly stay

Recently I stayed here for 3 days with my family. Experience staying here was great and mind relaxing.We tasted here the pahadi food which tasted great.The sunrise view was beautiful. Owner Mr. Darshan ji very humble and down to earth person .One of the best homestay I ever stayed.

Home stay is perfect. Its very well maintained. Mr bisht and family provided amazing hospitality. Parking is not available as of now in the property but they are planning to make it. Rest 100 % recommend if you are planning to visit almora or nearby places.. Super good experience

As shared by others Mr Darshan is a very courteous person. Unlike other hotel owners in this area , this is an experience type of a place where one would like to stay for a longer duration. He has a great knowledge about local decorative articles which one can buy there. A must visit place if you are there in Almora From the road side it may not look like much but the moment you see the property it shows how much in depth research and wisdom has gone in to build this. The staff cooks authentic kumaoni food which is surely a delight to have Although my stay was not so long, I enjoyed it thoroughly. This gem of a place is highly recommended for relaxing with friends and family or simply solo relaxation. Would love to visit again here .

Recently visited Almora and stayed at Gable Homestay with my family. Wonderful experience with the warm hospitality given by the owner Mr.Darshan Tiwari ji ... Traditional Kumauni house with beautiful rooms showcasing local culture and tradition. Best thing was the food prepared by Mr. Prakash ...all meals were delicious and memorable .. specially Pahari kumauni food ...rooms are absolutely clean and comfortable. The collection of antique pieces were awesome. I would definitely come here again. Highly recommended!!
