The Magnolia Lodge/Homestay

After many stays at Magnolia, and several referrals, I am happy to write this review. There’s no place like this! Nothing makes you feel more at home, away from home, than smiling faces & the warm hospitality extended by the team at the lodge. Mr. vivek & the whole staff, working their wonders to make us comfortable & feel right at home. Taking about architecture, the lodge is beautifully put together. The love & efforts & the finances put into making it speak for themselves. It’s always a pleasure staying here. 10/10 recommended. My most favourite place to stay it, in the hills.

Booking homestays is always a hit or a miss but i have to say booking magnolia was surely a homerun! I booked a weekend away for my parents and it couldn’t have been a better stay. Rooms were top notch and very well maintained and the food and service was exceptional. Plus the view from the balcony was to die for, overlooking the whole almora town and the valley. Would 100% recommend to anyone trying to get a nice quite time away.

We a group of 12 had 2 days stay at Magnolia. Excellent property with high quality services in arrangements, hospitality. Very tasty food. Co-operative staff. Property manager Mr Vivek is excellent guitarist, icing on the cake in karaoke.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Magnolia Lodge on my birthday, and I am thoroughly impressed with the experience. Every member of the staff went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable and memorable. Vivek Singh, the manager, was exceptional in ensuring that everything ran smoothly. From the moment we arrived, he was attentive, professional, and incredibly accommodating. His attention to detail and commitment to guest satisfaction was evident throughout my stay. The culinary experience at Magnolia Lodge was truly outstanding, thanks to the talented cooks, Leela and Nandi. Every meal was a delight and was prepared with love and care, making dining here a highlight of my stay. The caretaker, Digar Singh, ensured that the homestay was always in pristine condition. He were diligent in maintaining cleanliness. His warm and friendly demeanor made me feel at home. He was always ready to assist with any additional requests. Kamal, the driver provided excellent transportation services throughout our visit. Punctual and knowledgeable about the local area, he made traveling around both convenient and enjoyable. Lastly, I'd also like to appreciate Dr Rawat uncle for this beautiful property. His magnificent presence could be felt in the corners of the house despite his absence. Overall, my stay at Magnolia Lodge was nothing short of perfect, thanks to the exceptional efforts of the team. I highly recommend this homestay to anyone seeking a warm, welcoming, and well-catered experience. I can not wait to be back!

A very nice homestay. Very Comfortable with a positive and happy feel - Vivek who is managing the property - did everything to make us feel comfortable with his team . The old caretaker of the property are the current team - still learning the ropes of commercial service - so a few hiccups. However I will not hesitate to come back to Magnolia lodge again and again . Another big plus is the location . Binsar is next door and very very doable and so are other areas around Almora. Also enough space for parking of vehicles and bikes. Very good network on the property

We were fortunate to stay at the Magnolia Lodge/Homestay this May 2024. Our stay at the property was a surreal experience which will stay as one of my favourite memories for a long time to come. The Magnolia Lodge is a perfect European style Homestay built by Dr. Sumant Rawat. It is no less than a Mansion. Every inch of the home is done to perfection from modern and impeccably clean rooms and attached bathrooms to a beautiful courtyard. The Homestay smartly stands tall on the top of a hill overlooking the Almora town. The guests are bowled over by the hospitality of the Owner and the Staff. 100% marks for the homely food served with love by the staff and special thanks to Manager, Vivek who ensured that our stay was just perfect and a completely satisfying experience. My family is already poised to visit the Homestay again.

Magnolia lodge has been the best hill stay I have ever stayed at. Period. Not only is it a stunning property standing proudly at the top of a mountain in Almora but the comfort and ease it offers is excellent. It’s pet friendly which is an added bonus. The home is made, designed and decorated with excellent taste. This is something I’m extremely particular about, a space has to exude warmth and a good vibe, and magnolia lodge does more and beyond in this regard. They are very well staffed and the staff is very caring, helpful and professional. The home has central heating, the bathrooms are immaculately clean and the rooms get wonderful light in them. It would recommend to definitely take your car/vehicle when you visit the property. The wood fires pizza oven was such a wonderful surprise at this property. The town offers lovely cafes, a few shopping spots and incredible views of the mountains and valley. I cannot recommend magnolia enough, I can’t already wait to visit them again.

I recently stayed with my family at Magnolia Lodge, and it was an absolutely fantastic experience. The Manager Mr. Rahul Pant was exceptional ensuring our every need were met. The staff were friendly, always ready to assist with a smile. The food was simply delicious, offering a delightful taste. The ambiance and view from the property were breathtaking, providing a serene and picturesque setting. The rooms were impeccably clean and well-maintained, and the overall space was both comfortable and inviting. What made it even more special was that our children absolutely loved it here, and their happiness was the cherry on top of our visit. This Lodge/ Homestay exceeded all my expectations, and I would highly recommend it to anyone seeking a memorable getaway. Five stars all the way!
