Hermitage in the Himalayas

One of the best properties in Badrinath. Very neat and clean spacious rooms with all possible amenities in a place like Badrinath. The owner of this hotel, Mr. Bhaskar - a very humble, polite, helpful person and the best guide for anything at Badrinath. Food is easily available very near to the hotel. Excellent home cooked food is also provided at the hotel at very very reasonable rates. Mr. Bhaskar’s sister herself cooks food as per the visitor’s requirements. The overall stay at this hotel was excellent.

This is best located property I could find in Badrinath. The view itself justifies the stay at Hermitage in Himalaya. Owner is simple and available all the time to handle any query. Rooms are well placed and has all amenities that you could expect at a location which is usually cold. It has woolen sheets, quilts (double) and a room heater. :) It also has heating cattle, and availability of warm water. Rooms have extra bed to accommodate a 4 member family. Wake up in the morning and you have view to Neelkanth shining gold (literally).

We had a pleasant stay at Hermitage. The staff is very humble and attentive. The combination of excellent location, comfortable accommodations and outstanding service and cooperation by Mr. Bhaskar made it a truly memorable experience. We highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Badrinath Dham. Thank you, Hermitage for a wonderful stay. We look forward to returning in the future!

Jai Badri Vishal 🙏 It was an excellent choice to stay at hotel Hermitage indeed. Excellent location along with easy access to temple. Temple is just five minutes walking and the staff is full of care and support.Now it's turn for food,I would like to say just home next to home. Neat and clean rooms with a very caring and proactive host. Booked 2 rooms for one night for a family of 6 people. The host (Bhaskar) and his staff (especially Vipin) were personally there to help and update us about everything -- from weather to temple darshan to shopping to eating joints. 5 star host and 5 star property. Will definitely recommend this property to anyone who is going to Badrinath.

Beautiful hotel. The person coordinating is amazing and claims to have the best room in the city. Better than 4 star hotels like peerless sarovar and others. And yes if you post anywhere on MMT he'll attack of course. So I'll do nothing but sing praise. And yes rating is king so if he threatens customers for good ratings. And so on. So yeah great hotel great atmosphere. And YES I DIDN'T stay there.

My elderly mom and aunt stayed here for two days. My mom got sick due to long journey, however the staff were very helpful. They took good care and also helped mom with the darshan. Location is good...very near to mandir.

We stayed here for one night.The hotel offers panoramic views of the surrounding mountains of Badrinath.The owner is a nice person and is very helpful and cooperative. We also enjoyed the delicious homecooked meals prepared by the owner's older sister. Would definitely recommend this place to all travellers.
