I recently had the pleasure of staying at Blackbird Cottages in Bhimtal, and it was an exceptional experience. From the moment I arrived, the owner made me feel incredibly welcome and was always ready to help with any questions or recommendations. The cottage itself was superb—spacious, beautifully decorated, and spotlessly clean. Every detail was thoughtfully considered, making it feel like a true home away from home. The peaceful surroundings added to the charm, providing a perfect retreat for relaxation. Overall, I highly recommend Blackbird Cottages for anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay in Bhimtal. I can't wait to return!

Vijay's place is a home away from home. The location is very close to bhimtal and the property is specious and have all the required amenities. Vijay has been very supportive in helping us in knowing about near by places and was one call way. Our caketaker shekhar also did a great job in helping us during our stay. Definitely recommended to everyone.

This has to be one of the most wonderful stays that I have ever experienced . The cottage is very beautiful and spacious. You can actually feel the calm of the nature there . The view of the lake is also a beautiful sight. But most importantly, both Sir and Ma’am are absolutely wonderful hosts . They make you feel completely at home and give you the warmest environment one can have. They will take personal care of each of your needs . We got the opportunity to have dinner with them ( which was extremely delicious) and learnt so much from the conversations we had with both of them. If you get a chance, do visit ma’am art gallery. You will surely be completely blown away like I was. Words will fall short describing how amazingly talented she is. All in all, if you visit Bhimtal or near by, do stay here . It surely will stay with you for a long time.

I traveled with my wife and daughter and stayed in this beautiful mesmerizing accommodation with lots of natural beauty and surroundings. Mr. Vijay is a great accommodating and helpful human being with great human nature. His wife has a beautiful art gallery with beautiful creations as this shows her great passion for art. You can feel this decoram in the surroundings of the beautiful property. Really great and our good luck to stay here. We are traveling back to Delhi to our sweet home back but the great hospitality is going to be in our hearts for long and memorable experience finally we had

I have had the best experience staying with Vijay and Anupama. They were not just hosts but were like family. They, along with the amazing caretaker Shekhar, ensured that my 1-month meditative stay was well taken care of. I have already recommended the place to some of my friends and am happy to leave this 5-star rating for the property. Simply put, they took care of my every whim and fancy, may it be my food restrictions or helping me move to a quieter room when the property got completely booked; they just made sure my stay demands more of coming back :) They even treated me to traditional Rajasthani home meal during my stay. Vijay sir is a treasure trove of knowledge. He engaged with me on many amazing conversations (philosophical and Religious) and even helped me on my 1000km road trip during my stay. He was very helpful to share his backpack and sleeping bag so that I am taken care of if I am stranded in the mountains! Anupama Ji is an amazing artist and has a wonderful studio, which I had the privilege to see. Her art is simply out of this world, and I would recommend any art aficionado pick up some of her work. Divinity in many of her work just shone! If you need a serene, homely place with amazing hosts, this is it!

We had a fantastic stay! The property was exactly as described – clean, comfortable, and in a perfect location. The host was incredibly responsive providing great local recommendations and ensuring I had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The amenities, like the well-equipped kitchen and fast Wi-Fi, were just what we needed, and the cozy touches like beautiful paintings made us feel right at home. We would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable stay.

We have stayed in multiple Airbnbs at different locations. Have never found such a clean abode till date. Everything was perfect. Special mention to shekhar- the caretaker, such a nice man and humble. Would recommend to book it and experience the magic. Everything was according to our requirement as we travelled with kids. Safety is our priority and they have built it in keeping it in mind. Also, Suggested for group of friends. Host was amazing, was connected with us throughout our stay. Super helpful and kind. All in all we enjoyed the stay at Blackbird cottage- beauty❤️

If you want to stay at the biggest "A" shape structure in Bhimtal with clean, spacious, naturally well lit rooms, with practical and beautiful common spaces; this is the place to visit. Apart from this if you want that the owners to come greet you when you enter, show you around the stay, have good conversation during breakfast, maybe show you around hidden places of Bhimtal, cook you homemade delicious food; then this is definitely the place to visit. The owners Vijay Sir and Anupama Ma'am along with Shekhar their caretaker were the perfect host during our stay. Definitely taking a lot of inspiration and memories from my visit here.
