The rooms were beautiful, well-kept, and offered stunning views. The service was exceptionally good ,the staff was attentive and made sure everything was perfect. The peaceful ambiance made it the ideal spot to relax and unwind. Highly recommend this place for anyone seeking comfort and tranquillity.

I recently stayed at Homey Huts Darima near Mukteshwar and had a deeply disappointing experience. Privacy Violations: The property uses semi-transparent white curtains in all rooms and bathrooms, compromising privacy. This design flaw allows visibility into private spaces, making guests feel exposed and uncomfortable. Additionally, the co-owner, Rohit, and the caretaker, Deepak, were intoxicated for two days, leading to a lack of professionalism and respect for guest privacy. Deepak intrusively entered our private gathering multiple times, filming us without consent, making my female friends extremely uncomfortable. Theft Incident: Our personal belongings were not secure; Deepak took one of our bottles without permission. Lack of Transparency in Charges: We were not informed about additional costs during our stay. For instance, we were charged ₹1,000 for a one-hour bonfire, which was not disclosed upfront. When we inquired about prices, we received vague responses like “We’ll settle it at the end,” leading to unexpected expenses. Unprofessional Behavior: Deepak’s conduct was highly unprofessional. He disregarded our concerns and failed to provide the basic courtesy expected from hospitality staff. Management Issues: The management was disorganized, with the owner and caretaker blaming each other for the issues, creating unnecessary drama and failing to address our concerns effectively. Remote Location: The property is isolated, with no shops or amenities within a 15 km radius. This lack of accessibility can be inconvenient for travelers, especially families or groups with specific needs. Safety Concerns: Given the privacy issues, unprofessional behavior, and management problems, I have serious reservations about the safety of guests at this property. Recommendation: I strongly advise against booking this property, particularly if you’re traveling with family or female companions. The combination of unprofessional staff, privacy violations, undisclosed charges, and poor management made our stay extremely unpleasant.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this charming homestay nestled in the mountains, and I must say I was thoroughly impressed. The rustic yet beautiful setting immediately made me feel at home, and the warm hospitality and the smiling faces hosts with which we were welcomed on board, only added to the experience. Situated amidst lush green organic farms, the homestay offers a sense of tranquility and solitude that is hard to come by in the hustle and bustle of city life. Waking up to the sound of birds chirping and breathing in the fresh mountain air was a truly rejuvenating experience. The rooms were cozy and comfortable, with all the necessary amenities provided. The home-cooked meals made from locally sourced ingredients were a highlight of my stay, and I thoroughly enjoyed every bite. Overall, my stay at this homestay was a delightful escape from the chaos of everyday life. If you're looking for a peaceful and relaxing getaway in the mountains, I highly recommend booking a stay here. You won't be disappointed.

Its is a very beauitfull property and so peaceful , view is amazing and serene and very neat clean rooms and food was amazing in taste staff is very good and helpfull our overall stay was good we enjoyed at the property and the hospitality

From piping hot paranthas served with mouthwatering raita & achaar for breakfast to sumptuous thalis laden with regional delicacies like bhatt ki churdkani and gahat ki dal for lunch & pahadi chicken and rice for dinner, we were treated to an array of flavors that left our taste buds tingling with delight. The hosts took great pride in preparing these dishes, and it truly showed in the deliciousness of every bite. Atmosphere (★★★★★): The homestay's setting in the heart of the Kumaon Valley was serene and tranquil. Surrounded by lush greenery, the property provided ample opportunities for leisurely walks and birdwatching. Evenings were spent under a star-studded sky, where we shared stories and laughter with our fellow guests and the hosts, creating memories that will last a lifetime. Overall, our stay at this homestay in Kumaon Valley was an experience that exceeded all expectations. The genuine hospitality of the hosts(Rohit ji & their family), combined with the scrumptious home-cooked meals and the enchanting natural beauty of the region, made it a journey into the heart of Kumaoni culture.
