Litchi Grove Homestay

It was a delight to be there. Neat, clean and all facilities were available to us. It was a beautiful place. A homely stay and a warm host. Celebrated Diwali with them. Looking forward to visit again. Thank-you Achintya for making our stay comfortable and easy.

Amazing place to stay. Ambience is lovely and the hosts (Achintya and family) are very warm and welcoming. Location is also ideal since it is close to all happening places in the city. Thank you for such a wonderful experience.

Right in the heart of the city this place surly offers the comforts of a home with the luxuries and amenities of a hill station. Clean rooms, outdoor sitting area, garden and swings make it the perfect place to have a nice BBQ or sip your evening tea. The host is an absolutely amazing person who goes out of his way to provide all the comforts to his guests. Would totally recommend this place if staying in Dehradun.

Super clean and comfy.. the best part is the huge lawn outside to have morning breakfast and evening chai.. The host Mr and Mrs Singh were very warm, treated us as their extended family. Even had a BBQ evenings and movie nights with them. Stayed here for a week while WFH with me wife. Most important is you'll feel safe in the property

Owner is rude as hell. Have no sense of how to treat their guests and acts as if she’s doing a favour to let us stay there. Also the dog they have over their tried to attack us. Won’t recommend anyone to stay there

I stayed with my family - my wife, my daughter and son in law and two grandchildren. To be honest the property has both pluses & minuses. The biggest plus is the magnificent beautifully maintained lawn where you can soak the sun from sunrise till sunset. Peaceful & pollution free location is another. Yet another is the bonfire arrangements, which we re Now to the minuses: - Ramshackle kitchen sans Geysers. It was a nightmare to work in the kitchen to do home cooking - Barracklike linear structure with 4 rooms in a straight line. Hardly a cohesive for family living. - No covered dining room. Dining table in the open. It was an ordeal to dine in bitter cold of November December in Dehradun. Not more than 3 persons could dine together as the table has been placed with the wall. - Workable bathrooms. Nothing luxurious. I have given 4 stars to the property out of which 3.5 stars go to the green and huge lawn. I hope the owners will remove the shortcomings soon. If done it will become peerless property where I would love to stay wherever in Dehradun. Till then you can make your choice keeping in view my above honest unbiased review. Suman Raj

Comfortable stay. A beautiful property with an open lawn and an old Litchi tree,Hence the name. Decent parking space. Kudos to the host and the staff and also Pet friendly.

Worst place to stay. The owner has no sense of decency. Started shouting in the middle of night amd also tried to attack us with their dog. Not at all a safe environment
