The Jungal Kuti

We recently spent two days at this serene cottage in Jageshwar with our family, and the experience was truly memorable. Surrounded by nature, the cottage offers a calm and refreshing environment—perfect for a peaceful getaway. Though it's located about 300–400 meters from the main road, the access road is smooth and easy to navigate by car, and the location is very easy to find. The view from the property is simply breathtaking—picturesque and incredibly soothing. A special mention to Mr. Negi, the caretaker, who made our stay even more comfortable. He was always available, polite, and helpful with anything we needed. The food he prepared was excellent—tasty, homestyle, and not overly oily or spicy, which made it perfect for all age groups in our family. His genuine hospitality and humble nature were truly appreciated. I would love to come back again and will definitely suggest this place to friends and family looking for a peaceful stay in the hills. This cottage really left a lasting impression on us.

All I can say is that I got what I wanted when I came here. A beautiful place with absolute no disturbance at all. The location was perfect with a perfect view of the mountains surrounding you. The host, Pramod is very kind and helpful and will make sure you are having a comfortable stay while you're there. Make sure you eat their food as it is authentic 'pahadi' style of food and extremely delicious. If you're reading this then I recommend you visit this place if you're looking for a detox from the city life.

Come over for a proper mountain getaway experience. The property is secluded and nestled in a forest with fantastic sunrise views. Code proximity to Kasar Devi is a great feature.

Stayed here for a week with husband and family. The food is simple but absolutely amazing. The owner Mr. Pramod is super helpful with regard to anything you might need. He arranged for local transport, trips and even a Puja at Jageshwar temple. The caretaker Mr. Negi is an excellent person and the property is situated in a secluded and beautiful location. You get a breathtaking view of the whole valley and even the snowcapped Himalayas on clear mornings. If you're looking to stay in absolute and serene silence, go for the Jungle Kuti. We are definitely coming back!

This place is serene. The food is homely. The caretaker is very respectful. The rooms are clean. All the required necessities are provided promptly. Would definitely visit again.
