View from Property is very good but food and other services are very bad. As per discussion with the neighbours recently there was an ownership changed to a new owner after that the services are not good. Better plan your food outside this property. It is located far from the main road.

Stayed for two days with my partner, and I had a nice experience. The resort is a 5-10mins drive from the main road. It is very well-maintained, lush green with beautiful plants and trees and a large lawn area. The view of hills from the mountain is amazing. The rooms were large, airy, hygienic and food served was hot and delicious. The owner and staff were very friendly and courteous.

It was a fantastic experience to stay at Shivalik Homestay. I stayed here last week with my family.. the property is lushgreen.. just step out of room and experience the scenic beauty... Rooms were clean and tidy.. but size is a little small..service is pretty good and the care taker Mr. Pooran Singh is a nice guy.. he is a happy go lucky man.. would love to stay again..

Very nice resort it's very Butiful. And view is very Butiful Mr amit is very nice and co operative use navigation to reach here. I love this place. I stayed with our family for celebrating birthday. Very good & tasty food. Must include this resort in yours nanital trip atleast one night. Best place for family friends and couples. Purely safe and value for money.

The main residence of owner was built in time of second world war. Still in the feel of old days❤. Thick walls, uneven plaster, wooden floors and columns. The furniture of house is as old. But the cottages are newly built and small. If it was built in that old way theme, the experience would be excellent. Make online booking you will in Rs. 1600- 1800. I did not make online so I get in Rs. 2000. If you want to spend one day, reach by 2 p.m. so you can feel experience. The food is so- so. I ordered dum aloo and pili daal, daal was ok but aloo in dum aloo was kacha. The property has plenty of space. Children's will enjoy here. One can go down Jeolikot market or up on Nainital road on walk. Surely you will enjoy if you have childhood memories on hills. It is well maintained and clean. And yes The owner Mr. Bora is good person.

Awesome resort and tasty food no doubt. Even I will say when enter this premises be careless. Leave everything on the staff. They will care. Must to stay. I will go again. One day I lost my wallet with full of enough money and cards. The staff member found it and returned me next morning. I appreciated him as well by giving some bucks. Very honest staff. I can't forget.
