Namaste Auli Cottage

Amazing Property in Auli for the Solo travellers or the solitude seekers. The place is about 30-40 metres inside from the Road. Located at one end, you get almost 180° View of the Mountains right from the Location (outside your Room) The Service and Location is amazing. Room is also decent, but you can make it better. Try more innovative ideas... I will surely visit again because I could only stay for 1 night due to personal reasons.

We had booked 2 rooms for a 3 day stay at Namaste Auli Home Stay. Hosts were very friendly and helped us with sightseeing around Auli, Joshimath and Niti. During winters, Rooms are really cold and some air leaks in which could be improved but overall it's a budget stay with a really friendly host.

All over the package was good. We were 14 guests and we enjoyed very well. Also the hotel site is very calm and good. Also the food was nice. It is very calm and cozy place. We loved it.

Pretty good place. Very nice view. Rooms are comfortable. Bonfires are amazing. Toilets are not very well equipped and kind of bad which is why I've reduced stars. Good things outweighed the bad things. So pretty nice.

It is a very beautiful location. Or the staff is very good, the food is very nice. Whatever comes I will prefer to keep it here. Thanks namastte auli cottage for best service.👍

The View is beautiful and it looks exactly like the pictures. The garden is beautiful but I still remember this time with a bad feeling. This was because contact with him was always very unpleasant for us. We felt like we had to justify everything we did. In some cases he would be right , for example we paid too much for things but other hosts would tell us but not take so much space to make us feel bad. Even when we started a real friendship with a man our age, he asked in an unpleasant way who he was and why he was spending time with us without asking for money in return. For me, this constant contact with him colored my stay in joshimath. The rest of the family is super sweet! The location is beautiful but difficult because it is more than an hour's walk to joshimat and also up to auli. At the time we were there, there were no restaurants open in the area, which is why you have to rely on the food you get from the homestay. I think the food is super authentic and fresh. We believe that some of the vegetables come directly from their garden and that the yogurt is homemade. But the portions are small and as a vegetarian I sometimes had difficulty eating it. maybe because they use an animal fat or something, it's hard to say. some I couldn't eat because some sauces taste like chicken powder. He wanted us to write him a good review as he sat next to us and gave us suggestions of what we could write. I can understand that he is behind on this and that the reviews are important to him. It was just the way he did it that made my first review felt Not right. I can still recommend the accommodation because it is beautiful. I think it wouldn't have bothered me if I was more confident. Since I'm still thinking about it, I decided to write honestly what my personal experience was.
