The Perch ( Mukteshwar)

The Perch is approachable and is away from the main Mukteshwar chaos. Good view and place to chill with friends. The chef made good food for us and was always available for our orders be it any time. Manoj- the service guy really took great care of us. Was running the whole time to make us feel at home. The owner was also available the whole time to see if everything was in place.|Rooms were below average and had cleanliness issues. Bathrooms were not clean and the bed sheets also required cleaning. Would recommend if you are on a budget and doesn’t mind poor infrastructure. Parking is available but make sure you are a pro driver to park on a uphill in a very narrow road.

We went to the Perch with a group of friends and their families. The place was just at the start of Mukteshwar hills while coming from Delhi. It has 2 spacious rooms that can accommodate 4 adults in each room. You wouldn’t get this huge rooms anywhere. The views from the place are amazing overlooking the mountains. The food was as good as home made and the Chef made sure we are not disappointed. The downside however was the maintenance of the rooms. For such a huge place, there was only one caretaker. The rooms were dusty, no warm water in the bathroom, the bathrooms were not clean, and the beds weren’t sleep-worthy. Cleanliness was the deal breaker. All in all, I would recommend the owner to utilise the space in its full ability and make it worthwhile for the guests.

The Perch is an awesome, secluded resort in the lap of Himalayas. It's situated away from the main Mukteshwar town amidst a jungle of deodar, rhododendron and himalayn oak that just creates an atmosphere (or 'mahaul' as we call it) of such tranquility and peace that you just want to 'be' there in whatever avatar you deem fit.||||The resort itself is really beautiful with each stay getting a view and small gardens with beautiful flowers. The rooms are also really spacious and have a feeling of openness. No one is going to feel claustrophobic here, I can assure you of that. ||||Finally, the staff is really helpful and tended to our needs in whatever capacity they could. We got each service and all our requests tended to in due time and there weren't any restrictions to hinder our experience. The owner of the property stays there as well and can indulge you in the lores of the land and the mysteries therein.||||All in all, it was an ideal stay with friends. We could do what we wanted to and we take away all the memories we made thanks to the staff and the opportunities the resort provided. ||||P.S.: there's a village just around the resort that you can visit for long conversations with pahadi aunties and delicious peaches, apples, apricots and many other fruits. The forests around are full of kaafal and plum, if you visit in the right season, that is.

This property is nice located on the top of the hill, Good rooms having amazing view.House keeping was good.Bonfire and open spaces are some of the highlights. Food is good and tasty. This Property is value for money. Apart from this, Owner Abhinav Chauhan ji is a nice person and tries to help in every possible manner. He is the best person i have ever met. Overall a very pleasant experience.

An ideal place for friends and family to enjoy the natural serenity of a hill station. Quaint with a rustic ambience that provides a glimpse into the mountain life. The rooms are comfortable and hygienic. The host Abhinav is very warm, hospitable and took good care of us. ||||The food is also very authentic, can be made according to your preference. We tried some local regional Kumaoni food which was very yummy.||||Do visit and get your chill vibe on here!

The Pearch- Amazing peaceful stay in excellent property with great views of Himalayas. Resort had its parking and thorough safety arrangements. The view from the hotel is also beautiful. I would also like to give a thumbs up to their food, its indeed delicious. Rooms were very clean with all amenities. Service from ever welcoming and always smiling owner was truly exemplary. Can't ask for more. Not worth missing. During the lockdown, I came to this place and was there for almost a month. I've enjoyed the nature and my work too. If you're looking for a best WFH destination than I would strongly recommend this beautiful resort.

What do I say about Perch? It was a winter morning here in Delhi back in December And my family and few friends decided to take a break from the busy and hectic schedule and Decided to visit a non touristy place for a 3 day relaxation trip! That is when I found this beautiful place online , nestled in this beautiful hill near Mukteshwar. A few hours in train and then cab makes you reach this hidden gem! Amazing hospitality and such warm and cosy food ! Not to forget masala chai every morning outside the room! We hardly left this peaceful home stay . Added advantage: bonfires at night, preparation of snacks, non veg regional food and a smiling staff! If you want a little adventure, then trek to the nearby village or a small mandir atop the hill! This trip was one of the best and the most soothing journey I have ever had! Spiritual, relaxing and a new connection with nature! Do visit if you want to connect with yourself and relax, do not expect room service of five star property but expect a cosy home stay with beautiful views from each room equipped with all amenities and a friendly staff, few loyal dogs nearby and so much pure oxygen for your soul ! P.s I got a great deal from the owner and he is an awesome person as well! Will visit again once the lockdown is over! Cheers !

It is a great place to stay. It was the best experience staying there on the lap of nature mother. Warmly welcomed by the owner. Staff was extremely helpful. Home cooked food was delicious and worth to money. Rooms were spacious and comfortable. We loved the ambiance.||||I would highly recommend this place and would definitely want to come back to this place again whenever i can.
