It's a fab experience! The staff is polite and caring. Food is good. The property itself is beautiful with a peaceful ambience, away from Nainital traffic yet not too far away. Spacious rooms, lush green garden full of flowers! Quite a few trekking options and the lake itself is an incentive in itself! Full paisa wasool kinda place.....must visit.

I am an artist and have stayed at Cliftonhomestay several times and conducted quite a fewl art retreats there. It's a great place to be near a town and yet away. Tucked away on the Ayarpata hills, the forest, hikes, small undiscovered mountain trails are a plenty around there. It is also just 10 mins away from the lake and Mall road and serves as a perfect home to be in. In Nainital and yet away from it. The host and staff are polite and very caring and make sure that you are well taken care. In food they pamper us no end. It is a place that one wants to keep coming back to again and again...
