Prashant Homestay Nainital

I had a lovely lovely time here. The view and the vibe makes the place absolutely perfect for some quiet and reflective time. Prashant wasn’t even home and still he managed to be a gracious host, he allowed me to check in early and late to accommodate for the timing of my transportation, coordinated rides and help carrying my luggage and was over all super attentive to he helpful in every way possible. The room was super cozy and had everything I needed. I would love to stay again.

Prashant’s Homestay in Nainital is one of the coziest places to stay with beautiful rooms with a big garden outside which offers a stunning view of the Nainital lake. It’s an old heritage building with several rooms available for big families and couples with attached bathrooms and a common kitchen where you can do your noodles & tea. There’s a common library and ample space to sit in the garden and enjoy the winter sun. Shankar Ji the caretaker, will help you with all your needs and Prashant the owner is extremely helpful in sharing contacts of all your food, travel needs. The vibe there is really nice and peaceful and you feel like extending your stay. Will surely visit the Homestay again.

Review: I had a disappointing experience at this hotel. The rooms were extremely basic and definitely not worth the price charged. Despite booking a premium room, there was no heater or AC included—heaters came at an additional cost. The biggest issue was the lack of transparency: the owner quoted one rate at check-in, but by the time we checked out, the price had inexplicably increased by over 100%. This felt like a scam. Overall, the stay was far from satisfactory, and I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. We were taken there by our local taxi driver who told the property was good , don't believe these guys as they have their own commission in that.

The room reeked of unwashed, stale linens, with crumpled towels and sheets that looked like they hadn't been replaced in weeks. There was no hot water, leaving guests to suffer cold showers, and requests for assistance were met with rude, dismissive staff. Every corner of the room screamed neglect, making it clear that comfort was not a priority here.|They collaborate with taxi drivers and travel agents (especially from West Nepal) to funnel customers to their business, so exercise caution.

During the navratri i went to nainital with my family from kolkata which included a small child hence We were a bit skeptical in choosing the hotels. But talking to the owner of ejaa homestay we felt very relaxed and without a 2nd thought we booked the rooms. I must say it really turned out to be the best decision. The homestay is in the midst of nature hence it provides us a scenic beauty of nainital which can never be experienced by staying at the mall road hotels.we were surrounded with various kinds of flowers. Apart from the beauty of the stay , they really made us feel homely with their great hospitality. I will definitely recommend u all to stay here if u love nature. The only thing if there is any aged person whose age is above 56 or 60 may face a bit of a problem as it is on the steps of the mountain, you will need to climb on which aged ppl may feel difficult. But still a very homely place, good food, good people and undoubtedly it shows u the raw beauty of nature. Such a peaceful plc. If I get another chance I will definitely choose this place without further thinking.

A very good and pleasant place to stay. Ejaa Homestay as the name suggests this homestay will make you feel at home. Easy to reach location and not that high, is very affordable and a pleasant experience. Best part of the homestay, the owner Mr Bhagwat Singh is a very polite and knowledgeable man. He explained each and everything to us very politely and even recommended some underrated places to visit which made our trip very memorable. The verdict? An affordable and easy to reach place which has a very beautiful view. Very thanks to Mr Bhagwat Singh ji and team for making our stay memorable and pleasant.
