I absolutely loved this accommodations. I just stayed here for a month from 2/09 - 03/10. Super quiet yet super close walking distance to everything. Clean, hot water, wifi. And Deepak is more than an operator of a homestay, he is a guide, a helping hand, a person to turn to if there are problems of any kind but most of all he will become your friend.

I stayed there many times and it's an amazing place. It's in a quiet area and close to all commodities. Deepak is such a nice person. He will help you for anything and he is always caring. You will love him! I highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to spend a nice and simple time in Rishikesh. Lucien Switzerland

Really beautiful accommodation and Deepak the owner is very kind and helpful. The rooms belong to one of the best rooms we had so far during our low budget travel. The location is very peaceful and not in the center which we really enjoyed.

We absolutely loved our time at Govind Homestay. It is one of the best places we have stayed in all our travels. Deepak (our host) was wonderful and provided for our every Need. He even took as on a awesome trek to a local waterfall. He was not just a host but became a good friend. We would recommend this homestay to anyone who is staying in Rishikesh.

Deepak runs a wonderful guest house, with the true spirit of that type of accomodation. He is attentive, and at the service of his guests (offering kettles, laundry service, taxi support). He checks in daily with his guests to inquire about their needs. The Space and rooms are clean, welcoming, and comfortable. I enjoyed my time reading on the veranda. There is filtered water for guests and free Wi-Fi. The water pressure is not great, but there is hot water. I would recommend a stay at at Govind Guest House - one of the best I've had in India.

Pros Location is close to Laxman Jhula as well as main road. Staff is courteous and helpful. Rooms are good. Good if you are looking for a reasonably priced stay. Cons Rooms have small windows even in the bathrooms that make ladies un comfortable, had to cover it ourselves.

Deepak is a great host, always friendly and helps in case of need. Rooms are very clean and the place is quiet (However in india no place is really quiet) but govind hostel is in a quiet area :) I enjoyed my 12 days there and will come back.

We had a wonderful two months at Govind Home Stay. We felt like family and were treated as such! Hot water, excellent staff, and a wonderful manager, Deepak. Deepak and everyone at Govind and the related properties are trustworthy, kind, and helpful. We can’t wait to visit again.
