The Nainital Bungalow

I recently spent two wonderful days at Maati Living in Seetla, Mukteshwar, and it was one of the most peaceful and memorable stays I've had in the mountains. What makes this place truly special is how beautifully it combines comfort, nature, and local heritage. The property offers different stay options, including comfortable dorms and a beautifully preserved 100year old mud house that has been thoughtfully maintained while still providing all the modern facilities you need. Staying here feels authentic without compromising on comfort. The views from the property are absolutely breathtaking. Whether it was enjoying a morning cup of tea or simply sitting quietly and taking in the surroundings, every moment felt calming and refreshing. The entire property was exceptionally clean and well maintained, which made the experience even more enjoyable. The food deserves a special mention it was fresh, delicious, and prepared with great care. Every meal felt wholesome and comforting. The staff were warm, attentive, and always ready to help with a smile, making us feel genuinely welcome throughout our stay. A heartfelt thank you to Gagan and Dolly, whose hospitality is the soul of Maati Living. They have created much more than just a place to stay; they have built a space where guests can slow down, connect with nature, and feel at home. Their warmth, attention to detail, and passion for the property are evident in every aspect of the experience. If you're looking for peace, stunning views, authentic mountain living, and genuinely kind hosts, Maati Living is a place I cannot recommend highly enough. I would love to return someday.

Maati Living is one of the most unique stays I’ve been to. Surrounded by beautiful mountain views, it’s peaceful and truly relaxing. The hosts, Anamika and Suryansh, were extremely supportive and made sure we had the best hospitality. The chef cooked delicious food that gave a very homely vibe. Everyone here is very sweet and goes above and beyond to make your stay memorable. Highly recommended.

My stay at Maati Living was truly beautiful. The place was amazing and the view was so serene and breathtaking. ♥️ The staff was incredibly caring and made me feel comfortable throughout my stay. A special thank you to Niharika didi the property manager, for her warmth, kindness, and for making us feel like family. 🤍🤍 And a big thank you to Ganesh bhaiya who made the most delicious food for us with so much care and love. 🥹♥️♥️ Every little detail was taken care of so thoughtfully which made our stay even more special. 💌 A place I’ll always remember, and I’d love to visit again. ♥️♥️♥️♥️

Staying at Maati Living in Shitla, Mukteshwar honestly felt so peaceful and refreshing 🌿 The location is just beautiful — completely surrounded by trees, with greenery all around. It’s one of those places where you can actually slow down, breathe fresh air, and just enjoy the calm mountain vibe. The whole property has a very cozy and grounded feel, making it perfect if you want to take a break from busy city life. Mornings here are especially special 🤍 And the best part? Popcorn 🐾 — the cutest little cat who will definitely steal your heart and make your stay even more memorable. If you’re someone who loves nature, peace, and simple mountain stays, you’ll really enjoy this place.

Had a wonderful stay at Maati Living, Mukteshwar. The place has a beautiful old-world charm with peaceful surroundings and stunning mountain views. The traditional mud house experience felt warm, authentic, and nostalgic. The host Niharika is kind and welcoming, making the stay even more special.
