Anjaneya Boutique Stay gave us one of the most beautiful experiences we’ve had in Uttarakhand. Dev & Saumya aren’t just hosts — they’re storytellers, naturalists, and the reason this trip became unforgettable. They curated a personalized itinerary just for us. One day was slow forest bathing under deodar trees, the next was an adrenaline-filled night safari where we actually spotted wildlife. In between, there were peaceful temple visits, picnics with the yummiest sandwiches packed with love, and learning about the flora & fauna of the region right in their lovely garden. The house itself is aesthetically designed, calm, and spotlessly clean. And the food — wow. Every meal was home-cooked, delicious, pure veg, made with local organic ingredients. Healthy never tasted this good. It was the perfect mix: wholesome, soulful, with just the right bit of adventure. Thank you, Dev & Saumya, for your warmth and for sharing your home and knowledge so generously. This is not a homestay, it’s an experience. We’ll be back.

While the property itself is stunning—featuring meticulously designed duplex rooms rich in pinewood—the physical space is actually the last thing you'll remember. Every nook and corner feels curated, like a living museum where every item tells a story. However, what makes this stay truly priceless are the owners. From organic meals sourced directly from their farms to curated experiences like jungle walks and local home visits, they treated us like extended family. If you’re looking for more than just a room, this is it. Strongly recommended.

“A Happy Accident, A Beautiful Memory” We were originally booked elsewhere in Sheetal, but a last-minute change led us to Anjaney Homestay — with one thoughtful phone call. Divinder & Soumya are one of those rare couples who are simply full of life — passionate about photography, mountain peaks, and travel in the most genuine, experienced way. They are now starting their own experience company, and God bless them — the world needs more people who turn their passion into purpose. Their stories of tiger and leopard sightings made me fall even more deeply in love with these magnificent creatures than I already was. Truly special conversations. A quiet but heartfelt mention for Girdhar Bhaiya — a silent, warm, and incredibly helpful soul whose kindness made our stay even more comfortable. And the food? Cooked by the hosts themselves, with love — and anything made with love is always extraordinary. Every bite proved exactly that. Come here by plan or by chance — you will leave richer.

"When the "Stay" is Only the Beginning" While we first marveled at the stunning pinewood duplexes—each room feeling like a curated story—the property itself eventually became the backdrop to a much deeper experience. True luxury here aren't the rooms, but the the priceless experiences such as jungle walks, local home visits deep in the jungles, local shops, etc. The home-cooked meals provided were amazing. We came looking for a premium home stay and left with a new branch of our extended family. Highly recommended.

We had a great experience in Anjaneya as it’s almost in the middle of the forest with lush greenery, great accommodation (beautifully designed) with big rooms and organic home cooked food. The hosts Dev and Saumya were amazing hosts and took special care of us. Highly recommend Anjaney to one and all!
