Jains Cottage

One of the most inhospitable and hostile environment ever provided by anyone. Owner cares only about the money and passes the onus to one caretaker. Caretaker is actually a cook who does not bother even visiting the property unless you take his services. But then why would you, if you plan to visit Kainchi Dham, or Nainital or other tourist places you planned. The actual caretaker is some lady. She demands money for chores she otherwise would do on as her duty on a daily basis. Barges into the house unannounced and turns off the lights, other switches as she finds right. She goes on lengths to prove her loyalty and says that you are using our devices which decreases their life and hence, fine may be imposed if you use lights when not needed. Next is the location. Its so far off that even local cabs refuse to come there. The one who comes demands 1500 bucks even for a kilometre to and fro. Overall, highly not recommended. Extremely un-accomodating, hostile people. If you want a view, get some other place. So much more to say but dont want to waste my time any further. These people completely ruined by vacation. PS: dont fall for positive reviews for this site.

This was the most serene and peaceful property I have ever stayed in. The views, the rooms, the interior everything was so cute and aesthetic🤌🏻 It actually had a foreign home touch to it and me and my friends fell in love with it. The caretakers were also super nice and friendly. If you are going to nainital and looking for a place to stay at, this one gives the best of everything.

Worst experience ever. No facilities. Anything you need, only one answer "We dont provide". Just take the rooms and forget getting any amenities. In the name of views, stay inside the room with curtains drawn. Go any place but this.

We were a group of 11 people (2 kids). We had an amazing time. The villa is extremely well maintained. Looks more beautiful than the pics. Lovely view. We could see the sunrise from all bedrooms. The caretakers were extremely polite and took care of us really well.

Jain's Cottage is nestled in a picturesque location offering breathtaking views, with a tea garden right in front that enhances the scenery. The owners are incredibly helpful and accommodating, making our stay truly enjoyable. We had a wonderful experience and would highly recommend it.

A simply superb holiday experience at jains cottage. Very well maintained cottage with spacious rooms and clean bathrooms, picturesque views, a beautiful garden to enjoy and relax. The caretakers are very nice, always smiling and make you comfortable from the moment you meet them. The food made by them is delicious. Overall we had a splendid time and hoping to go again very soon👍

I admire beautifully located +Decorated /furnished and neatly and remotely maintained Jain home stay. staff is very sincere, honest to their duties and courteous. The lady put every removable to sun-bath including water jug during our departure , preparing for the next booking. We got value for the money spent. Payment was hassle free. Will plan my next trip for longer duration.

Very comfortable cottage. The standard of everything is excellent. We had excellent nights sleeps in super comfy beds. Will highly recommend to friends and hope to be back.Thanks shikha for a wonderful stay 🥰
