Alleria Homestay

Very comfortable and calm homestay with a beautiful view on the scenery. It is not directly in the city centre, but close enough to walk. The owners are very friendly and can give tipps on what to visit. There is a very fluffy and cute german shepherd dog who loves cuddles and play.

My stay at Alleria Homestay was delightful. The hosts, were incredibly welcoming, making me feel right at home. The room was cozy and impeccably clean, with thoughtful touches throughout. Very friendly and knowledgeable owner .The breakfast was very nice and fresh, the rooms were super clean ,best place and best views of mountains , one of the best homestay. Alleria homestay made our trip the best . We'll return very soon again .💜💜

This is my second stay at Alleria homestay as I greatly enjoyed my first time there. If you are looking for an authentic and welcoming experience then this is the place to be. The hostess is very accommodating and takes care of the guests very well. The rooms were clean and the location is perfect for someone who enjoys the quiet of the hills without being too far away from the main town.

We had a very unpleasant experience during our stay at Alleria this past week. The room was extremely small and claustrophobic, the linen were dirty and stained. We were asked to pay extra for heater, no water bottles were given. The geyser didn’t work- so ofcourse we were unable to take shower. We had booked the homestay for three nights but decided to leave the place in less than 24hrs as we didn’t want to spend our time feeling stressed all the time. In addition to everything mentioned above - the attitude of the owner was disheartening- there was zero customer empathy and willingness to make things correct for us. It’s a place if you are looking for a roof above your head for a night but if ur expecting anything more you are in for great disappointment!

Beautiful, clean, comfy rooms with a dazzling mountain view. Easy walk to town, host was so accommodating and kind. Felt very lucky to have this place as my home got my time in Darjeeling.

Overall best homestay for rooms and services. Probably choose this in the next visit to Darjeeling. Alleria Homestay made mine and my friends trip very pleasant and memorable. Thanks.♥️♥️
