Overall service is fine, price is reasonable everything is available nearby. You have to pay Rs.100 daily if you want to cook for yourself. Bedding and towel will be provided here. One major problem here is water supply, municipal is responsible for this problem! Place is recommended for group of bachelor

Me and my friends had a wonderful stay in a beautiful place called TaraD Homestay in Darjeeling. A small place managed so efficiently by Team TaraD. “It was indeed an Oasis in the desert” We were so delighted with the services and the support provided by the team overall. The suggestions on the tour plan they had put across to us was brilliant which was not frequently visited and the places were so blissful and serene. Our Best wishes to Team! Located near highway and is walking distance from Darjeeling railway station and Chawrasta. Good ambience. Working staff is very humble and friendly. Nice stay.

A cozy and easy to reach homestay in bara kak jhora, Darjeeling. You can easily reach here from anywhere in Darjeeling plus you are only 5-10 mins away from all the major city attractions like the clocktower, glenary's, kev's, kunga, mall road and dragon market. As for the host it is run by Choden & Prashant (Choden's husband) who are sweet humble, and very helpful. These guys definitely won our hearts with their goodness and hospitality. On a side note, do make sure that the geyser is running (if you are planning to visit during winters) as we had to face some trouble. That was not a deal breaker for us but for some it might be. All in all, I'd recommend it to anyone visiting and planning to stay in a homestay in Darjeeling (friends/family). The hosts truly live up to their motto of, "Check in as a guest. Check out as a friend." ❤️😃🏔️

Had a wonderful time staying at the property with our family. Ambience and connectivity of the place is really great. Major tourist points at walking distance.
