They immediately arranged for car for sightseeing . We wanted a bigger car to fit our luggage also. It waa arranged in few minutes, with very cordial drivers. They showed us all the sight seeing points with patience and guidance. Contact person Sri. Krishna has been very cordial and supportive.

The room is very good, the bathroom is cleaned but there is a loadsheding problem we faced, they don't have any alternative for loadsheding, but their behaviour was so polite. Peace pagoda and japanese temple are walking distance. But the city is too far.

Our experience at Mamta Homestay was not as expected. Though the owner was accommodating and you get a good view of the valley and a glimpse of the Kanchenjungha from the roof, yet the service was not up to the mark. You have to request for hot water for bathing and then also sometimes they forget to switch the geyser on 😕 The rooms which we had booked, were also not insulated properly. It was pretty cold inside and a lot noisy because it was adjacent to the road. The rooms and bathrooms were not cleaned properly and you have to request for cleaning every time. The challenging part is the location. It is a big let down as it is quite far from the city centre. You have to shell out Rs 300-500 per trip to commute to and from the city centre. Overall it was an OK experience for us!!

This homestay is budget-friendly. It is very close to Darjeeling Mall.

Familier atmosphere I find at that home stay , and the food quality was awosom . And the behavior of each staff of this home stay was so polite and friendly . The main attraction is car parking .
