Aashirwaad Home Stay

From hospitality of the owners of the homestay to the ambience, from the well managed gardens to the wonderful pets, from the tea to the lunch items, from hygiene of the washrooms to the clean rooms and the sophisticated decor of the dining space, everything was stupendous. I count the best part of our memories of Takdah to be the one night halt at Ashirwaad Home Stay. I strongly recommend this place to all who wish to visit Takdah. And yes, the cherry on the cake has been the sun rise view from the first floor! It was a heavenly experience that Ashirwaad Home Stay gifted us with.

I have stayed here from 16/5/22 to 19/5/22. It was a wonderful experience. The rooms were large enough for four people and the hosts were pretty lively and very helping in all sorts. The homemade food was very tasty. Whenever I visit Darjeeling again I will stay here. It is situated beside the Dali Monastery so you get one point covered already. In a nutshell a fantastic experience. Cheers to the hosts until next time. Hope we meet again very soon 🙂

The stay was very good. We booked 2 rooms, the rooms are big in size. Bathrooms are okay, each room has its own dining space. The beds had bed-heaters, which was pretty useful. The floors are little unclean, you need to wear slippers/shoes. The hosts were excellent and very helpful. They will make you feel at home. We ate breakfasts and dinners and the foods were good. Wifi available on request.We will definitely recommend this homestay. The only downside is, the homestay is little far from Mall. Toy train track runs in front of the homestay

Adarsh and Leadya are great hosts, from the day we booked their homestay till we left they made sure our stay was comfortable. The space is spacious with seperate area for dining. They have also provided heater for each bed which made our stay even more pleasant. They provide home cooked meals for reasonable price and don't ever compromise on taste and quality. The food is quite a spred with starter, dal, curry for the price they charge. During our stay Aadarsh and Leadya prepared the famous Darjeeling momos for dinner as complimentary. We felt like family staying with them. Aadarsh is a call away to help any issue you have during your stay. I would definitely recommend this place for everyone who is visiting Darjeeling. We had a wonderful stay in this Homestay Lidya & Raja run this Homestay.They are super friendly, cooks amazing traditional food for breakfast, lunch and dinner, if desired and is always available if you need something. Raja ,Lidya & their family is very humble.They are SUPER HOSTS and GREAT HUMAN BEINGS .They try their LEVEL BEST to make the Guests Happy.I went to Darjeeling in the last week of November along with My wife & two teen age Daughters.My wife & My daughters were very happy as the ambience of the HOMESTAYwas very HOMELY and that was possible only because of the tireless efforts of Raja & Lidya.The view of KANCHANJANGHA is awesome from this Homestay.The property is well connected with Tinchuley,Takdah,Lepchajagat ,Lamahata ,Mirik , Pashupati Temple(Nepal).This is the property which is over the main Road.
Rajaji is always ready to plan Ur Itinerary ,if needed.The Room is cosy .The food is very Delicious.It was cold in Darjeeling in late November when we visited but the beds have wonderful heated blankets and the bathroom has hot water. it is very easy to get to Mall either by walking along the train tracks or taking a cab for 10 rupees. I would recommend it to EVERYONE who are planning to visit Darjeeling. it's a great place!

The people of aashirwad homestay were more pleasant than Darjeeling itself. It was really a great experience. They are our new friends, they treated us like their family members. They made us feel the place like our own home. Thank you Leadya🙏

After lots of research we zeroed in on this Homestay and we are glad that we did. It was a wonderful experience. The rooms are comfortable and the amentities are good. Not as fancy as in hotels but then, the reason we chose this homestay was not for luxurious rooms but the hospitality of the host Mr. Raja and he exceeded our expectations in that. Raja and his family were so cordial and pleasant and treated us not like guests but like family. They made us feel as if we are staying at a relative's house. Now this kind of warmth i dont think any hotel would be able to offer. We very much enjoyed the stay and loved interacting with the whole family. It was a memorable experience, the early morning tea in the terrace, the delicious dinners made by Raja who happens to be an excellent chef as well. Dont miss his Chicken Mutton curry if you happen to visit. Its just fabulous. Thank you so much Raja for having us. Looking forward to visit you once again.

More than the home stay it is Raja bhaiya, who made it special. He has a very pleasing personality and very helpful. The rooms are spacious, clean and also has a dining area which we used for keeping our luggage. Best part was they offer car parking. This homestay is at Dali and just 2 km ahead of Darjeeling Mall. You can avail share cars to Darjeeling market for just Rs. 15 per head.
