Sangpang Homestay

Great view. Location is also nice. If you are lucky and it is a sunny day, you will also get to see Mt. Kanchenjunga from the balcony. Rooms were also nice and the price was also reasonable. Great food and service was also great. The bonfire that they arranged was also great. Everything about this home stay was nice.

What a place..! Just located on a slope of the hillside of Chhibo. Way to this homestay through the jungle on a cloudy and foggy day is a trip to remember and cherish for long time... Food options are excellent and caretaker lady is an excellent chef of Nepali cuisines.... Evenings are chilly and windy which will compell you to have hot coffee sitting beside a bonfire. Rising early in the morning to watch majestic Mt. Kanchanjungha during sunrise is fantastic... We enjoyed our stay there.

Initially we booked for 1 night but stayed there for 2 nights . It was great experience for us specially around view, peaceful environment, food and great hospitality by Host. Host were really nice. Just to note that this homestay is bit far from the city center and its not easy to get vehicle there. Though there is nothing to browse in the city center so if u would like to have a quite place and food with great host , you are strongly suggested to stay there.

Okay with service but room is not so good,visited during May June you may be irate with various types of insects coming from nearby jungle both inside and outside the room, location is good you can view kalimpong at night from the top of the room and balcony.

Bad place to stay food quality is disgusting charging extra amount of money on extra food . Hospitality of owner is very bad. Bed not so comfortable. There is a permanent timing for breakfast lunch and dinner........ DO NOT VISIT THIS PLACE AGAIN. FULL DESTROY OF MONEY
