This place is truly heavenly — upon my first visit here I felt like I could live here forever. The cute yet vintage bungalow, the huge patio, the mesmerising views, the fine dine grade food, the superb hospitality, I can keep going on and on about this property. May it be for holidays, remote work or just to go clear your mind and connect with nature— this place enables you to do it all. The host is lovely and his family members and the local community all partake in the operations at the property which makes it even more holistic and homely. You immediately feel a breath of fresh air and a breath of home upon arrival here. The host is also an adventurer and a paraglider himself, so he organises treks/paragliding and other activities as well if anyone is interested. The good bunch of pets namely prince and ducci and Suri are gentle and add their own sweetness to the place. It’s a pet friendly place and these bunch know it too as they help accommodate your pet here and make them also feel right at home. Then there is the food from the exemplary chef who resides here — he treated us with food one would expect in a fine dining restaurant. From the locally foraged vegetables to the home made pickles to prawns in wasabi sauce to fried eggplants in a Thai style coconut broth — you name it and you will find it here. You are in for a surprise with the food here. They have options for indian, ethnic and pan asian food as well. I would just suggest anybody visiting Kalimpong/Darjeeling/Sikkim — just drop by and stay, high chances you will extend your stay here.

Tucked away in the tranquil outskirts of Kalimpong, this charming homestay is a gem that feels like stepping into a postcard. The property is beautifully curated, with every corner thoughtfully designed to blend comfort and character. The highlight for me was the massive and dreamy verandah, offering uninterrupted views of the mountains and the majestic Mr. Kanchenjunga with cloud hovering below, above and beyond — perfect for slow mornings with tea or magical sunsets, also offering ample space for morning group workouts.The host is genuinely one of the nicest people you’ll meet, radiating warmth and making you feel instantly at home sufficing needs with poise and grace. Adding to the experience is the in-house chef, whose culinary skills can bring anything you can dream of to life, from local delicacies to international cuisines. Evenings here are something special, with a starlit sky overhead and the gentle company of the homestay's pawsome friends make it all the more experiential, a perfect fit for animal lovers. What makes this place unforgettable is the abundance of wholesome experiences, from exploring the lush surroundings to simply soaking in the serenity on the verandah. Despite being budget-friendly, it delivers grand returns in memories and joy — the kind you’ll carry with you long after you’ve left. A stay here isn’t just accommodation, it’s a soulful escape. Spent 3 nights here, and this place is something special. The view is simply unforgettable, waking up to clouds floating over the mountains felt surreal. The food was outstanding every single time, thanks to Raymon, who clearly cooks with heart. And Debraj, the host, has a way of making you feel less like a guest and more like family. It’s the kind of stay that leaves you wanting to come back. Highly Recommended 👍

I had an amazing stay at Ringkingpong Homestay. The location is perfectly peaceful, the view from the house is breathtaking and the quiet, serene atmosphere made it easy to unwind. The food prepared by Raymon was delicious and felt truly homemade. Debraj and Raymon were incredibly helpful, when we were trying to find the place they actually came out on a bike to guide us, which made arriving stress-free. Their service felt genuine and attentive throughout our stay. Highly recommended for anyone looking for warm hospitality and a calm getaway.

If you are looking for a home away from home in an off beat destination, then Rinkingbong Homestay is the place to indulge your luxurious languor. Though the route may be rough in parts, the destination is worth the adventurous ride. The homestay nestled amidst nature in rural Lower Chibo, near Kalimpong, you can get a panoramic view of the Sikkim and Kalimpong hills/ mountains and the famed Kanchendzonga on clear days. The homestay has clean, spacious and comfortable rooms with attached bathroom, geyser and electric kettle for making your cuppa of tea/coffee; warm hospitality; friendly and helpful staff; delicious meals and snacks served by the excellent resident chef; plus a pocket friendly tariff! We spent a wonderful weekend at Ringkingbong Homestay (23/8/25 & 24/8/25) and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. A BIG THANK YOU to Debraj and his team for making our stay memorable. A loving pat to Prince, Duchy and Suri...the adorable four legged companions as warm and friendly as their human caregivers.
