Tito's Homestay

We were coming from gangtok and were pretty exhausted. Then the preferred homestay wasn't available. We had a pretty bad experience with their owner, at the last minute we booked Tito's homestay. And we're glad we chose that. It's a women run homestay. The staff was very kind and respectful. Though make my trip didn't list breakfast but still they have provided a complimentary breakfast which tastes good. We ordered dinner and prices were reasonable. Overall had a great experience.

Horrible experience. In the name of complementary breakfast they are fooling everyone and serve only toasts. Anything else is chargeable. They don't have bathtub but show it while booking. They don't give drinking water but ask you to buy it for Rs. 25 each bottle. They property is in a congested area but far from main bazaar. Bed matresses are really. hard. They don't have bell boys and you need to carry your luggage. Overall, one should give it a pass. Btw, in the response, they are telling lies. We went there with 5 adults and 2 kids (one 5 years and one 8 years old) exactly as in the booking. On the other hand, when we asked for water they said normal water is not recommended better buy bottled water that of course we bought. They were not willing to provide water from water purifier.

If there's one thing that sets this Homestay apart from any other properties is the hospitality and warmth of the owners and staff alike. Cozily snug with all the necessities, the rooms offer a valley view right from the bed. Its easily approachable from the main road and two wheelers on rent available at walkable distance make it every adventure seekers dream destination. What's more, if you like furry friends, be sure to be welcomed by two happy faced hosts. Thank you Tito's, see you again! :)

The view is stunning from the room. You wake up to the view of the hills and clouds. It has a balcony like corridor facing the room and you literally wake up to the view of hills. The room is clean and looks modern. My room was especially big with L shaped sofas, center table and a big TV. The bathroom is super clean and looks new and modern. The owners and staffs are warm and the food there is great too. Wish we could stay there for more days. The market and nearby cafes and restos are not far from this place and you can manage by walking.

Situated in a convenient location, just a short distance away from the market, the place has a cozy and welcoming atmosphere. One of the things that really stood out during our stay was their exceptional hospitality. They went above and beyond to ensure that we had a comfortable stay. We were particularly impressed by how brother Tito's mother took care of our furry kid (6 yrs old Labrador whom we had taken to KPG for spaying) by cooking for her and even feeding her when we had to go out. It was very heartwarming to see how much she cared for the pets. The kindness and generosity that they showed us truly made our stay memorable. Overall, we had a great experience there and we would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a cozy and comfortable place to stay.

The place is beautiful, very neat and clean. Definitely, great value for money. Rooms have a great view of the mountains and give a nice, cozy feel. The owner is also very warm and if you request, will give you a tour of the terrace, whice probably has the best view in all of Kalimpong. Will definitely visit again. Book the place without thinking and I am sure you won't regret it. Thanks for your hospitality and wonderful stay.
