The homestay itself was immaculate, with a high standard of cleanliness that was maintained throughout my visit. The views from the property were absolutely breathtaking, offering a perfect backdrop to a serene and relaxing getaway. The service was exceptional, with every need anticipated and catered to promptly. Whether it was recommendations for local attractions or assistance with travel plans, the host was always ready to help with a smile. In summary, this homestay in Kalimpong provided a perfect blend of comfort, stunning views, and outstanding service. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful and enjoyable retreat.

I am here to share our stunning experience with the whistling thrush homestay kalimpong from april 10th to 14th 2024. Am really confused where to begin as the whole experience was so good and satisfying. Let me start with the hostsDr.Udai and his wife,both of them are such wonderfull people who take maximum care of you and treat you like their family right from landing there to your take off. They made sure we felt comfortable at all point during out stay with their great hospitalilty. They even took care of our taxi services during our entire trip till we reached back to airport.They even guided us about the places to visit nearby according to our priority. Dr.udai keeps pouring all here knowledge about the places in and around kalimpong which was very intersting to know.we thoroughly enjoyed our stay with them. Talking about the cottage it is such a beautiful ,spacious and well maintained cottage which can easily accommodate 6-8ppl. The ambience and the location of the place is also breath taking such that you can simply stay there your entire holiday and chill out even if you dont wish to travel much as we did. Next good thing about the place is their delicious home cooked food which jus makes you feel like eating at your own home.They make sure that the cooking is just perfectly done according to our preference and tastebuds that we dint even opt to try many restaurants around the town. Coming to the place kalimpong itself ,is such a beautiful hill-station away from all your routine and commercial lifestyle with such a pleasant weather.This place will be so relaxing and soothing if you especially travel from hot places round the country. You can also choose to take day trips from there with the guide of the hosts to darjeeling, parts of sikkim and many more places if you wish to explore.As we went with a bunch of elderly ppl with us we chose not to travel much so we jus explored kalimpong alone and spent our evenings in the cottage just chilling. Last but not the least they have 4 beautiful guest friendly pet dogs(kanchi,mojo,jojo and coco) special mention to coco,she really kept us so much entertaining during our stay with them,most of the time we spent our time playing her favourite ball catch game 😂. On the whole if any of you wish to travel to a hill station different from the usual places do consider visiting kalimpong and especially whistling thrush homestay to make if even more special and a memorable one.

Wonderful experience, very helpful hosts. Had a gala time. Definitely recommend. Just take a local car and driver for a safe approach to the property. Hosts are very helpful

Just an awesome and cosy place to stay in the lap of nature and wake up from the bed with a view of the Mighty Range of the Himalayas.
