Cerulean Retreat

Loved the place. The host/manager is very friendly and welcoming, and is always a call away. The location is superb with a great view. The rooms are neat and clean, and the food is great. Overall, it was a fantastic experience staying there.

It was a wonderful stay. The rooms were really clean and the location of the place was marvellous. We could see the mountain Kanchenjunga from our room. The manager of the hotel was really nice to us. He tended to our every request. Even the staffs were really nice and caring. The food was also really delicious and home like. All shops and monastry are walking distance.

Rooms are very clean and well maintained. Staffs are very nice, well mannered and helpful. From rooms, views are just awesome.... Its a pleasant experience.

Nice property just outside the main town near the checkpost where the road divides towards Kolakham. Although everything is nearby only, it gives a peaceful atmosphere. Staffs and manager are really helpful. Food tastes awesome. Rooms are really nice and clean. Very meticulously decorated. Having nice balcony with nice view.

Great location if you want a nice view with quiet surroundings. Location is perfect and you can easily walk to the Lava Bazaar nd Lava Monastery whenever you want. Owner Mrityunjay is an absolute delight nd extremely helpful. Food could be better as we couldn't really enjoy the non veg items on either days. Very kind nd helpful staff. Cute little terrace garden too.

Hotel Cerulean Retreat is located close to Lava Monestry. Staffs are very courteous, cooperative. Food cost is reasonable. We got a 125 cc scooty also at a reasonable rate for a day for local travel - Changley fall, Lava viewpoint and Nokdara lake. Good value for money for a short weekend vacation!

I visited Lava last week for a short vacation and what a wonderful stay we had at Cerulean Retreat. The owner of this place Mr. Mrityunjay Patra is very good man who takes care of all his guests very well. The room was neat and clean and had a mesmerising view from the balcony. The hospitality received along with food and everything was just too good. All together it was a great experience for me and I would encourage everyone to stay there.

Very good homestay. Rooms are clean, carpet was there. View from balcony is also good campared to other homestays. Located at distance from crowded lava bajar area. If you want calm environment with good food definitely you can choose this homestay
