Misty Mons Homestay at Lava

5/5 Stars I recently (28-Dec-2015 to 31-Dec-2024) had the pleasure of staying at Misty Mons, and I must say, it exceeded all my expectations! The hotel's location is absolutely perfect - nestled in a quiet area, yet just a stone's throw away from all the major attractions such as Lava Monastery, Market etc. The rooms are spacious, elegantly decorated, and impeccably maintained. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the amenities were top-notch. But what truly stole the show was the food! The hotel's restaurant serves up some of the most delicious cuisine I've ever had the pleasure of enjoying. It feels like we are in the home and having lunch/Dinner with families. I must say Anup, is not only the manager, he is all rounder to take care of all needs. The staff at Misty Mons were warm, welcoming, and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was nothing short of exceptional. From helping us plan our itinerary to providing insider tips on the local area, they were always happy to assist. Overall, I would highly recommend Misty Mons to anyone looking for a relaxing and unforgettable stay. We can't wait to come back and experience it all again! I recently stayed 2 nights at Misty mons homestay at lava . The manager Mr. Anup is very supportive and helpful. He also cooks very delicious foods. The homestay maintain homely atmosphere due to Mr. Anup. Lava monastery is just 2 minutes walking distance. The homestay is within the lava market. Lava clock tower and I love lava is in within walking distance. . Room 102 is a partial view room. The room is neat and clean but TV is not functional . Room service need to improve . Overall very good

Location is on the Lava Main Market just 2 mins walk from Lava Monastery. The caretaker Mr. Anup Ghosh is very helpful and humble person. Food is very homely and delicious. Room have all basic facilities. However try to book the 4 bedded room 203 in 2nd floor. 2 bedded room is less spacious.

Room & wash room is very good. Mr Anup is main ley person of the homestay. His services and behaviour is excellent. Food quality is excellent.

I recently stayed at this homestay and had an amazing experience. the food was good, and the Anup's behavior is very friendly . It is truly a great place for families and friends to stay. I highly recommend this homestay to everyone.

The rooms and washrooms were very clean. The service and food cooked by Anup Da is incredible. We never felt we were away from home for the two nights. The location is just 50 mtrs from the monastery. Though the rooms do not have a view, the main balcony of the homestay offers a beautiful view of the monastery. Had an awesome time at the place.

Hospitality, Food, Stay, Travel and Location are the four pillars of any homestay or hotel be it in a small off-beat city or any big city. Misty Mons Homestay excels in all four aspects. Be it Mr. Amlan Dutta or Mr. Dawa or Mr. Anup Ghosh. The hospitality of the trio is unparallel and we were simply moved. The travel to various locations surrounding Lava and Lolaygaon was mind-blowing not just by the beauty of the sites but the ever-smiling face of Mr. Dawa. The food preparation by "Great Anup" was really really GREAT. His simplicity, and ever-obliging approach made our stay memorable. The wits and companionship, guidance of Mr. Amlan Dutta was the cherry on the cake. Summing up the stay at Misty Mons Homestay was AWESOME. I would definitely recommend Misty Mons Homestay to whoever is visiting Lava.

Excellent cooperation, awesome homely atmosphere, very good accommodation quality and location. Overall, behaviour and assistance of the owner of the property Amlan Dutta and his assistant Anup Ghosh are simply magnificent.
