Crazy Peak Homestay

It's really crazy.. Stayed there for one night, food well cooked and family of the owner all are very much co-operative. You can can get the entire view of the Nathula Pass and Kanchanjungha from the room and a clear view from the roof of your stay. All the facilities are available like geyser, electirc kettle etc. Out of the package, by paying the cost you can ordered extra food as per your choice and the location very good. You can visit near by village by walk and there is a small monestry.. Thanks to owner Nima ji and her entire family...

This is a nice place to spend vacation. Besides scenic beauty, this location also offers tranquility, pleasant weather. We enjoyed home-cooked foods, some of which were really tasty. Behavior and hospitality of the host were something to cherish for long. If you are looking for an uncommon destination at a reasonable price, this is the perfect place to visit. If sky remains clear, one can view Mt.Kanchanjunga, Pakyong airport and Nathula pass, as told by the host. Due to foggy weather, we couldn't view those spots. One can visit Lava, Lolegaon, Kolakham and Kalimpong town from this place.

HORRIBLE stay is the one word review for this homestay. No hospitality mindset. Location is not rishap, it's at Shewlay. Infact it's perhaps the worst homestay experience we ever had. The landlady named Nima was a nightmare. She was highly reluctant, equally unprofessional behavior as if we were a burden on her. Worst was the menu. Only potato and potato in the name of organic veggies. Tourists should think thrice before booking a stay here. Pros: - Good view from only upper 2 rooms - Well lit room - Safe parking Cons: - Owner's misbehavior especially Nima - Food quality, quantity, taste and spread are all just horrible - They nastily tear the tissue papers in halves for saving money and this mindset reflects in everything they offer to guests - No network or wifi - No towel, soap, water in basin (no force since nozzle is blocked by owner to save water), geyser does not work (switched off from owner's room) etc - Location is not Rishap, approx 30min remotely down from the tourist spot marked Rishap (at Shewlay) - Road conditions very very bad - No sightseeing places nearby
