Moul Homestay Bolpur Shantiniketan

I stayed for one night in this homestay in March 2025. It was a nice and comfortable stay. This family was extremely helpful. I reached quite late at night, even then they arranged a vehicle for me to pick up from the station and also arranged warm home-made dinner for me. Though they were busy with their daughter's school leaving examination, they gave me more time than I was really expecting! I am overwhelmed with their hospitality and personal care. The room was comfortable with AC, mineral water + server, and other basic amenities. Bathroom was equipped with a hot water geyser. I also had a chance to see the other rooms. They are all artistically decorated and equipped with similar amenities. I was surprised to know that most of the furnitures and decorations were handmade by the owner. These days Santiniketan is overcrowded with tourists and hence is too noisy. But this neighborhood is out of those noise and bustle. Yet many of the spots people want to visit in Santiniketan are within walkable distance. I had enjoyed the morning walk in the vicinity. In my next visit I shall definitely stay here and highly recommend this homestay for solo and family travelers.

I stayed in Moul Homestay for 10 days in a single room. The owner is an artist so has a very good artistic sense, they are very cooperative and very friendly. I had a great experience there staying for the first time. It is surrounded by important locations and still is a quiet place to stay. Good for families. Has a good terrace for hanging clothes.

Had a great experience at Maul homestay. The location is away from the business and chaos of the main roads. The owners are generous host. Neat and clean with all amenities and an absolutely beautiful house in the middle of a garden.

We had a wonderful stay at Moul Homestay. Mr Jayanta and Mrs Nabanita were really nice and ensured our stay was memorable. Rooms are spacious and very clean. They have a beautiful garden where Mr Jayanta grows variety of fruits and vegetables. I was given a tour of the garden They had provided contacts for Tuk Tuk pick and drop and local tour. Antu was the tuk tuk person who took us all around Shantiniketan. Mrs Nabamita ensured we had homely food. Nabi Boudi and Asish Da provided us with some nice home made food.. Thank you Mr Jayanta and Mrs Nabanita for being a wonderful host. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at your place. Looking for our next trip and stay at your place.

I've stayed there for three nights & four days (6th to 8th Nov'24). Mesmerizing experience. The Hosts, Mr. Jayanta Mondal and Madam are very keen to serve the best services to the guests. It is close Santiniketan, Biswabharati University campus. The room was very pleasant, it cozy & clean. Lovely and great first impression of Homestay.

Great homestey at shantiniketan. Excellent big room with kitchen facilities and mineral water. All rooms are very clean, all bathroom hygienic with geaser facilities, bed and bedsheet are good, clean carpet, room decoration and abstract painting is very unique. Great host, good behaviour and Mr. Mondal is always helpful for any situation. Beautiful garden, very cool and quiet atmosphere. Recommended for everyone. The Homestay is excellent. The rooms are spacious and nicely decorated and extremely well maintained. The owner and his wife are super hosts; they are highly cooperative and amiable in nature. The location is in a calm and quiet environment. The garden and parking facility are bonus. The only thing missing is Wifi.

This homestay is really homely in true sense situated in a peaceful location having a small garden where quality time could be spent in the early morning.
