Aayna Homestay

It is truly a home away from home in a peaceful yet prominent location within walking distance from the university. You'll get two bedrooms, a dining table, a divan and a kitchen too. The divan can be used as a single bed and for all 3 beds they provide mosquito net of correct size. The kitchen is equipped with gas oven, microwave oven, utensils and a mini fridge. The kitchen has good quality tea leaves, milk powder, biscuits, puffed rice and chanachur. Beyond all these creature comforts, the most unique aspect of this homestay is the paintings and decors that adorn the walls of the entire property. The house owner is a well known artist whose art has been showcased nationally and internationally. Yet, he is a down to earth friendly person who'll personally ensure your comfort and convenience during your stay. Colourful, thought-provoking contemporary art everywhere from the exterior paint to bedroom and bathroom will make your stay memorable.

This is a wonderful homestay that can be most aptly described as a home away from home! Run by a very friendly and genuine family. The amenities are awesome. 2 spacious rooms, optional AC, comfortably sleep 5 people, and a tie-up with a great food delivery service. The 1st floor is entirely available and has a separate entrance. The owners ensure a warm and pleasant stay with their personal touch. The small touches like flowers, snacks and tea/coffee in the kitchen, toiletries.... make this homestay absolutely exceptional! Definitely worth visiting and repeating!

Aynabari was awesome in every aspect. It’s perfect for family and small group of friends (4-5). The owner is a very humble person and caring. We will stay in Aynabari again if we go to Shantineketan next time.

This is the best homestay experience I've ever had. The property is scrupulously clean, well equipped with adequate utensils, crockery, a mini fridge, a microwave, an electric kettle, fresh new toiletries, and beautifully decorated with the owner's own artworks. The location is very convenient as well. You can choose to ask for toto rides to and from the station. You can opt for meals cooked by the owner's relatives, which is absolutely lovely and home-like, or choose to cook/order in on your own. Very reasonably priced as well and everyone is so courteous and helpful. Would highly recommend.

My experience of staying in Aayna homestay is very positive. 1. The rooms are neat and clean. 2. The homestay is located in a peacful and serene area. Tourist spots in Shantinikan are close to this homestay. 3. The rooms are decorated aesthetically. The owner Mr Sanatan Saha is an artist. 4. Drinking water, power generator and kichenette are provided in the homestay. The kichenette is equiped with cooking gas, microwave, refrigerator, electric kettle and utensils. Breakfast, tea, coffee can be prepared here. Foods for babies and older people can be easily prepared here. 5. Along with that, they have contacts with near by hotel and home delivery owner. We ordered food from the home delivery owner while staying in this homestay. Food is tasty and hygenic. 6. The owners Mr Sanatan Saha and Mrs Sujata Saha are very helpful and cooperative. They are gentle and courteous. They provided travel guidance to us which are really useful. 7. The homestay is near to railway station. If you wish the owners can arrange toto services for a hassle free journey from Bolpur Station to the homestay. We have a delightful stay here.

Aayna Homestay is a work of Art in the land of the Bard of Bengal, that humbles you to the core. The homestay experience in itself is a work of Art that the host has carved out inch by inch, with innumerable small detailing to soak in and treasure as an experience. The host, who is quite a renowned Artist himself is a very humble soul and ensures that you feel at home, though not barging into your privacy. A chat with him in his studio over a cup of tea, about his life's trajectory can be a very fulfilling interaction. The rooms are large and very well maintained, with all modern amenities. It is located near the hub of Ratanpally. Choose this place if you want to unwind for a couple of days, away from the maddening crowd. Please make sure to maintain the vibe of the place that it is.
