Yaksha Holiday Homestay Sittong

The area and surroundings of this homestay is very serene and picturesque.We were welcomed in my Shanti who is the most hardworking lady ever.From carrying our luggage to the rooms,to providing amenities and cooking from breakfast to dinner -she takes care of all.The homestay provides comfort home food -breakfast,lunch,snacks tea and dinner.In case you want something extra to eat ,inform them a little prior as it is a remote area and they will arrange for it,but the quantity of food they provide is more than sufficient . What we will always cherish is that it we had a birthday in the family ,and the owner gave us the contact of Roshni with whom we ordered a cake a day prior.The cake was delicious and Roshni also provided us with complimentary cupcakes. Added advantage- this place has wifi (in case you bring office work along).I will surely come back to this place again and recommend all.

This Homestay is really something I can recommend others for a stay due to the pleasant comfortable and peaceful stay that I enjoyed in October 2022. Like all other Homestay it is run by a family and they take good care of the vistors.||The rooms are bright with sunlight and airy having balconies where boarders can sit to relax facing the lofty Himalayan mountains. On clear days a sight of snowcapped Mt. Kanchenjunga adds to the enjoyment. The food served are simple homemade delicacies . The room tariff includes breakfast, lunch , evening snacks and dinner.

Writing the review I should mention first that the owner is not concert that the guest are coming and the main cook wasn't there. And food is not sufficient ( mention in the picture). Clint booked before 4 month with 1300/- per person. In evening we ask for chicken pokora, the maid say no. After the argument the owner provide chicken pokora ( mention in the picture) There are so many great home stay are there in upper sittong. Those who are reading my review I'll suggest please stay in Ahaldhara there rooms are available in 1300 and great views are available. Very disappointment with Ysksha service...

We visited there in December 2019. Wonderful stay! The owner and her daughter warmly welcomed us when we entered the reception. We felt like home away from home. Not only the rooms but also their food & behavior are awesome. We will recommend people to visit there.🙂

I & my guests visited there in October 2nd & 3rd 2022 . We are so pleased because their nice behaviour & Just awesome hospitality. Every body will feel like they are in home. Clean rooms , they also provide excellent food. The owner of the homestay Mr. Digel uncle is down to earth & very wish to go again Yaksha.

The owner Mr. Diesel is a very nice person. Outside view from Rooms are fabulous. Rooms are tidy. Washrooms are large and maintained in good condition. Geysers are in operating condition. Foods are delicious.

A very cozy Homestay in middle Sittong. The renowned ones like Bises though in Upper Sittong is very congested in terms of roads but Yaksha Homestay is a nature lover's paradise with clear view of the mountains and more importantly no congestion. One can also arrange bonfire at the adjoining yard of the Homestay. The host is also very hospitable and the food is also good. The morning view and the night view of the mountains has equal enthralling and captivating beauty to cherish for the rest of one's life and make one yearn for a second visit.

Great place ... Rooms are good but very few room lights are not working properly. But the location is great , u can have a lovely view . And one appreciatable point is they have wifi connection...
