I had the most wonderful experience staying at this homestay. From the moment I arrived, I never once felt like I was away from home. Every member of the staff treated us like family — warm, welcoming, and always ready to help with a smile. The food was absolutely delicious, made with love and care, just like a home-cooked meal. The rooms were clean, cozy, and thoughtfully maintained, and the overall ambience was so peaceful and inviting. The service was impeccable, attentive without being intrusive. Everything about this place — the people, the hospitality, the environment — made my stay truly unforgettable. I can’t wait to return!

Truly a place of great honesty and charm. If you're looking to spend your leisure time peacefully, this is a wonderful choice. The hospitality staff, led by Mr. Anup Rai, are extremely courteous. The scenic beauty of this place is mesmerizing. In one word – value for money. I highly recommend the food as well; it is both hygienic and delicious. And if you're a tea lover, you’ll enjoy unlimited complimentary black or milk tea ☕

The place is located among greenary and the mountains. You will be able to get a very very beautiful view of the Kanchanjunga from the balcony of the room " Taitanic" where we stayed.A very cozy and beautiful place. The owner is a gem of a person and is a very singer . The live music with a bonfire made the evening very very enjoyable. The food is excellent and dinning room is clean and well furnished.Relating to the room is fine as per the kind of tariff we paid. However, the washroom cleanliness was a concern though it was immediately taken care of once pointed. Great service, polite and courteous staff ...even their pets are soooo adorable 😍

Overall ,I was very impressed and satisfied by their hospitality and services. I have rarely seen such an outstanding service and homely experience in other Homestays . suggestion: My only suggestion would be, they should improve little bit on breakfast items.

Constructed with Bamboo and mud, Sittong Monastery is a worth visiting religious site offering a stunning view of Kanchenjunga and a breathtaking view of the surrounding.The best time to visit Sittong is generally around the months of October – November in autumn, December – January – February in winter, March – April in spring.The nearest major railway station to Sittong is New Jalpaiguri (NJP), which is approximately 40-55 kilometers away. From NJP, you can reach Sittong by hiring a taxi or taking a bus. Kanchenjunga is visible from Sittong. Sittong offers stunning views of the Kanchenjunga mountain range, particularly from the Sittong Monastery and Upper Sittong. The village is nestled amidst lush forests and orange orchards, providing a picturesque backdrop for viewing the majestic peak.

Overall, a homestay that holds the first place in every terms n condition of beautiful SITTONG , car parking, food and drinks are impeccable, there are all types of room from very average to very good, staff behavior is very good, owner "Bishes" ( name ) lovely person , the road to the homestay is a little different, we are people from the plain land , we took our own car so we were a little aware of the road. Overall 48hrs very good experience.

Very good accomodation and food. People are very nice. Evening program with live songs of the stuffs and guests adds a very good flavour to the stay.
