Rose Villa Heritage Bungalow No. 9

We stayed here for a couple of nights and we cannot express how great our experience was! It is a beautiful cottage located in the heart of nature with beautifully decorated rooms! Our stay was made even more special by the amazing hospitality of Lama Ji and his family! The freshly cooked, hot meals were something we especially enjoyed! This place is perfect for relaxing as well as going around for some great views! Our hearts are indeed full from the couple of days we spent here!

I had the pleasure of staying at Rosevilla Bungalow No. 9 in Takdah as part of my architecture project, and it was a truly memorable experience! Mr. Lama and his family welcomed us with such warmth that the bungalow felt like home from the moment we arrived. Mr. Lama’s great-grandfather even joined us to share fascinating stories about Takdah’s British era and the history behind this beautifully renovated bungalow. The food was simply delightful, served in traditional Casa utensils, which added such an authentic touch. The vintage collections around the villa were a treat for the eyes, and the spacious, rustic rooms offered a perfect blend of comfort and heritage. This is a place with soul, made even better by the hospitality of a genuinely lovely family. Highly recommend it for anyone looking to experience the charm of Takdah!

i recently visited the rose villa homestay bungalow 9, takdah that exceeded all my expectations. The hospitality was truly amazing, with the hosts going out of their way to make sure my stay was comfortable. The food was delicious and felt just like home-cooked meals, a perfect balance of flavour and warmth. The view from the cottage was breathtaking and the atmosphere was so peaceful. What stood out the most was the friendliness of the people, including the owner, who were always approachable and ready to help with anything we needed.The interior of the homestay was very comfortable with amazing aesthetics. It also had a vintage look to it. This homestay is highly recommended to other visitors and tourists. It’s a perfect getaway for people looking for both relaxation and a memorable experience.

Heritage aspect of the property is maintained truly. Scenic beauty in and around is remarkable. Hospitality and service with a smile will be remembered for long. Where else could I expect food of my choice ready on the table. Thanks to all members of Lama family and the two helping hands. Special mention must be made of the ever obliging young Gyaltchen Lama. One adverse feature is the road conditions leading to Takdah, which however is beyond the control of Rose Villa. Health permitting I will surely revisit

Very good in behaviour of all staff and owner of the bunglow. Recommendation for family stay as well as friends staying in that property. This is the best offbeat place in the Takdah region. Peace
