Takdah Heritage Bungalow No. 15

"Jack of all trades, master of none" this homestay proved this line wrong literally. Because it's best in every area starting with rooms, food, ambience, hospitality, behaviour of the staffs - literally everything. We stayed there for 2 days and the experience was utmost soothing with mental peace. The owner aunty was so sweet and coorporated with everything. Food was excellent, 4 times food was served with proper maintaining the hygiene and quality. That butter chicken and evening snacks were specially extremely delicious. And the last thing this homestay was very cost efficient too. Overall it's a 10/10 package and worthy of every penny. Will visit surely very soon.

Nightmare at Takdah.If you are planning to travel to Takdah please make sure you are never visiting Heritage Bunglow No 15. We went to this place on 15 th October. The Airbnb pics were showing great pictures but the rooms that were given to us were totally disgusting shabby smelly and the sofas where totally broken. The owner Sangam's wife was the most brutal host ever. Never seen such an illmannered lady in our life. The moment we questioned her about the hygiene of the bunglow that every where there was smell of dogs and cats poop, she started behaving rudely and started blaming us that all house stay will have pets. We said we have no issues with that but there should be a hygenic atmosphere when we are staying with small kids. She was such a fraud lady that in the site where nice rooms are shown she was denying the fact that she didn't give us the same rooms. After the conversation at 9pm she drove us out of the hotel. We had two kids with us one 1 year other 4 year and no where to stay in such a remote place. She had the audacity to touch our luggage and drag those outside the rooms. This is not the way to treat guests. She even didnot return the advance she took from us after all this she did. Horrific experience the whole Takdah trip was wasted.Unfortunately we should have taken pictures to show how filthy was the condition and that lady was even more horrible. Taking money and not giving service. Requesting all my fellow friends never visit Takdah Heritage Bunglow 15

The host Ramita ji is very polite and humble. The food and room was good. Only thing that need to note that they should arrange some lights at outdoor sitting cum dinning area. We feel lack of light while having dinner. The people who do not like cat/dog they will feel disturbed. Otherwise you may go for your vacation.

This property is heavenly for pet lovers and I would recommend to stay here without any second thought. Ramita didi and Ganga is superb person, the hospitality is top notch just like second home. I will definitely plan for takdah again and again to stay here.

Great Great Great experience... Ramita Madam is so cordial, humble and the little girl Ganga is so cute and caring too.. Bijendra jee , the car driver is very responsible man.. Rooms are very beautiful.. well furnished.. clean and spacious.. beautiful hills are surrounding the bungalow ... Property is also safe for girls even who is planning to go for a solo trip Food is outstanding.. I just love every items... If you have a plan to visit Takdah just don't think twice.. book this Heritage Bungalow 15... it is budget friendly too I'll surely visit again..

I enjoyed visiting Heritage Bungalow 15 with my extended family in April 2024. In total, we had around 12 people aged between 82 and 13. The stay was an experience I will remember forever. I booked this homestay after reading the reviews on the internet and communicating with Ramita over WhatsApp. Even though I had never met her, there was an immediate connection when we started planning the stay in March. Ramita and Ganga took care of all our wishes and demands. Ganga always had a huge smile and managed all our requests effortlessly without one single tone of protest. The place is beautiful - the people are amicable and accommodating, and the overall experience was mesmerising. I would always recommend this place to anyone wanting a quiet, offbeat vacation amidst the clouds and a homely atmosphere. If you love pets, you will love all the dogs and the three cats staying at the property. They will keep you entertained during your entire stay. I hope to come back sometime and enjoy one more!

The experience here is awesome. The host's hospitality & the other staff members is beyond good. The food served here will make you feel like you're at home. If I ever visit Darjeeling again, I would like stay here no less than one week for sure.

Stayed for 1 night with friends. Had a wonderful experience. Didi was very helpful, sweet and a perfect host 10/10. The food was homely, bedrooms were spacious and clean. The calmness of the surrounding will definitely take you to another place.
