Odin Hostel Shoja

The staff at this hostel were incredibly welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. The rooms were immaculate and very comfortable.Volunteer Dherya jain kept us entertained throughout our stay, we also enjoyed the delicious breakfast each morning and loved the convenient location close to major attractions.

Odin Hostel in Shoja is a fantastic place to escape the hustle and bustle of crowded marketplaces and enjoy the beauty of nature in peace. The first thing you'll notice is the stunning scenic views and cool weather, which make the stay incredibly relaxing. It's truly a peaceful haven, far from the chaos of daily life. A highlight of our stay was the food, thanks to the amazing Chef Roop Singh ji. Every meal he prepared was absolutely delicious, adding a homely touch to our experience. The rooms are clean and tidy, and the washrooms were spotless, which made our stay very comfortable. Aditya, the manager, deserves a special mention for making the whole experience smooth and hassle-free. His attentive service made us feel right at home. One thing to note is that Odin Hostel is quite far from the main market, so it’s a good idea to stock up on packed snacks and beverages in Jibhi before heading up. The road to Shoja is narrow, and at times, traffic can get choked, so having a patient, skilled driver is a must. I’d also recommend avoiding travel at night since the road conditions are poor, especially in some sections. The distance from Larji to Shoja is around 30-35 km, but due to road conditions, traffic, and elevation, the journey can take between 2.5 to 3 hours. In winter, a 4x4 with snow chains is necessary as normal vehicles can’t handle the snow and black ice. Despite the road challenges, once you reach Odin Hostel, it all feels worth it. The cozy atmosphere, comfortable rooms, and the warmth of the common area, which is full of board games and card games, make it hard to leave. We spent an entire day just relaxing indoors, enjoying the comfortable and inviting space with friends. Overall, if you’re looking for a peaceful retreat with great food, clean accommodations, and a welcoming staff, Odin Hostel in Shoja is an excellent choice. Just be prepared for the journey, and you'll have a memorable stay!

One of the best hostels and property i have stayed in. Odin hostels shoja is your home away from home. I will highly recommend staying at Odin if you are visitng shoja. The staff is so sweet and helpful. Special mention to Aditya, he was a great help throughout. The food at Odin is best too. Visiting Odin shoja again soon :)

This was my second time at odin Shoja. The place is nice and staff is very nice. The head chef here Roop Singh cooks is very good at cooking and hospitality. This place is a must visit.

I stayed at Odin for ten days and my stay was simply amazing, the food is good, the staff is extremely cordial and there are so many different sections to chill. This is probably the best place to stay in Shoja, considering it is economical as well as conveniently located.

One of the worst experiences that I ever had, poor service, pathetic food quality, rooms in a terrible state, unhygienic overall. They take the money at the beginning of our stay because they know that after the kind of services they provide we won't like to pay. Very bad quality food and overall disappointing experience for the kind of services that we got. I would not recommend going here...

I had an amazing time staying at Odin. The staff is extremely helpful & friendly. Hosts were amazing, they became our friends towards end of the trip. View from the room was beyond beautiful. My overall experience was 10/10.
