Flügler Hostels Dharamkot (McLeod Ganj)

Beautiful location to stay at. It’s far enough from the hustle and bustle of the commercial areas of Dharamsala but close enough for any kind of transportation to reach. Most people visit the mountains for some peace and calm so this is the apt location for it. The dorms/ private rooms are extremely clean and taken care of and they even provide private heaters if you need one. The hostel has it’s own kitchen which solves the issue of looking for new places to eat everyday and the food is great. Staff is very polite and provide great service. The best part about the hostel is the view. It’s incredible!! Definitely recommend it.

It's very nicely located with in the middle of the mountains. 1. Rooms are super comfortable, spacious and with a crazy view 2. Co-Work Space is brilliant. You can talk to a lot of like minded people while working. It has a good WiFi connection as we 3. Amazing people to hang out with. Do not miss out on jamming sessions 4. There are a lot of Good hikes around, which you can cover whilst working as well 5. They have amazing food and services Thanks, Aniket

The place is pretty calm, good chill vibes at the right location in dharamkot, which has markets, good cafe's like moonlight, Morgan's and Tibetan Matket with creative items in jewellery, clothing, handcrafted work for ornaments and more.. all in the proximity. The host was nice here at the stay. They have clean dormitory with comfortable bunk beds. Good balcony view, decent food, with their own cafe at 100mtrs, a little improvement with hot beverages could be icing. Weather was too good just to roam around, ignored the unusual rains for may end. They have volunteering option as well if you're planning a workation and to keep chill. Decent Visit!

Excellent place to stay, with lush green hills surrounding the place you just can't get enough of the place. The Food served is excellent and probably the best at upper dharamkot, the small yet awesome restaurant provides a awesome view of the hills. The managers are really cool, go an extra mile to make you feel at home. Nitin, Nitesh and Shruti have done great job in making flügler a awesome place to stay. Its really nice to be friends with such cool bunch of people. Highly recommend.

Service and attitude plunged to new lows. It used to be good. Now better find some other place to stay. Some key drawbacks- no one as desk you will find it hard to find manager. So all your problems will get delayed response. Outdoor washroom are big no. No proper lightings , no proper sanitary situation

Well place was good , but when it comes to hospitality the male staff in the reception has failed in terms of good services he doesn't Know how to behave with guests he was so rude, kindly give proper training to him.I came from another country for recreational purposes but due to poor services Im fully unsatisfied and that's not good for business! Overall kitchen staff was good and friendly.

So they have done a pretty good job. Staff is comparatively good. Views are amazing. Its clean. Food was pretty good, exceeded our expectations. The washroom ratio is extremely poor in dorms. I stayed in a private room but one of our group member was in the dorm. Its strange to see how a co-founder (a lady) would show such a attitude to their guest while she is seated at the reception. Rest was fine. Old age / not fit people should avoid until they have proper roads till the property.

Nobody writes a review until they are asked by the staff and that’s why most of the reviews are good in general. But belive me I am only writing this as I would never want anyone else to go though what I had to. So, We(4friends) were there for a one day trip which turned out to be a two day trip because of pathetic service of Flugler staff. Right in the middle of the night the manager who was more drunk then he should be on his wedding came to the dorm waking everyone up and shouting at us for not checking in again. Although it was their fault that we had to extend our stay as we couldn’t move our car and construction of the road began. Not to mention the builder came to inform them in the morning to move any cars as the road will be blocked as soon as construction starts but they didn’t inform us. We were charged 890+GST per bed(day 1 it was 650+GST) the second day which also they bullied us for as we had no place to go to at 3am in the morning.The manager was abusive with us and his tone was threatening. They have the worst food service, they take hours to prepare any food order. Also in context of service a techno party was promised on Saturday night but no one was there to play. I promise you there are far far better places in dharamkot with better staff service, views and ambience not to mention crowd quality too. Try out Zostel, Alt life etc they are far better. Ps: you guys ruined my trip! I don’t wish that happens to anyone!
