Cookies Hostel

An amazing hostel to stay. The staff are very chilled out and helpful. The rooms and washrooms are very well maintained. The location is just amazing. It's a little difficult to find, especially if you are going in the night. There's a 200m steep road that leads to the hostel. They have a cafe on the rooftop which is cozy and nice. The food is reasonable and tasty. Definitely recommend it for a quite stay in McLeod. They have a limited breakfast menu though.

Great location with stunning views. Able to watch the storms and fog sweep in and out. Staff are friendly, they tend to keep to themselves. Free washing machine is a life saver! Free breakfast is standard. Good relaxing atmosphere.

A decent place at reasonable cost. We had booked 2 bunk beds in the 6 bed dorm and it was sufficiently comfortable. It has a rooftop seating area plus a room where you can play some indoor games. The view form roof is great. Only negative is the way you got to take to enter it..which might get shabby during rains.

An apt choice for backpackers. It is a peaceful place because of the location. It is closer to bhagsu falls. They have affordable priced rooms/bed bunks. And have complementary breakfast :) This building also has a top roof seating area which has a great view of surrounding mountains. The staff is nice and co-operative.

The hostel is located on the top of a steep climb. It offers a great view however. The staff at the reception was a bit rude. All other staff was friendly. There is a restaurant at the roof top which you get your free breakfast. There you can also have food from the menu which I found a bit expensive. The dorms are clean. The washrooms are not bad but could improve on cleanliness. I lost my track pants. Can't blame the hostel but just wanted to mention. There are small lockers, which you need to take a padlock to lock. The dorms have a small balcony with a great view. I would recommend this hostel for a small stay.

Nice place to stay if you're travelling on budget and are comfortable living in hostel. You'll get all the amenities and service as mentioned in the property description. The rooftop is particularly is a great area to chill out, relax. You can also order food, do yoga n stuff. Overall a pleasant surprise.

The place is best for young travelers who are budget constrained. The roof top café is major attraction. The mountain view is worth holding while having your morning breakfast. Bathrooms are clean and modern. Rooms are bunks beds as while as private stay is also available as per your requirement.

Nice and cozy place for everyone. You get to meet different people from all over the world. The kitchen staff is really helpful. You can cook small meals on your own in the kitchen. Provides amazing view of mountains and oaks. Also the best part, it's easy on the budget!
