Hogwartz Hostel

Me and my friends recently stayed at this hotel and had an extremely disappointing experience. Despite having a prior booking, our room was appointed to us very late, which was frustrating and a clear sign of poor management. The services were equally subpar. Room service was non-existent—we were told to pick up our orders from the kitchen ourselves. By the time we were informed, the food was often cold and unappetizing. This is far from the standard of service one expects from any decent hotel. The staff was unprofessional and unresponsive to our needs. They showed little interest in ensuring a comfortable stay, which made the experience even more unpleasant. Overall, this hotel needs significant improvements in both management and customer service. I would not recommend staying here unless they address these serious issues.

Hogwartz Hostel is an excellent choice for travelers looking for comfort and convenience. Located within walking distance from the bus stop, it’s perfectly situated for easy access to transportation and local attractions. The rooms are very good—clean, spacious, and well-maintained, ensuring a comfortable stay. The staff are incredibly friendly and always ready to help, making the experience even more enjoyable. What truly sets this hostel apart is its affordability. It offers great value for money without compromising on quality. My stay here was nothing short of amazing, and I’d highly recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable and enjoyable place to stay. The location is near by the market and there are not much steps to reach it, and the food is both cost, efficient and tasty. Also, you get a good vibe in the Great hall and the theme is very nice and special praise to Pankaj. He was helpful throughout with all the queries and available At all times for any help

It's a best property to stay in kasol. If you are looking for budget friendly and the place for work from home then it will definitely benefit you. The person at the reception is also very nice. They also have indoor games available like pool, etc. One thing I would like to suggest them to start room service. They don't provide room service. You have to go to the kitchen to take your order.

Good place and great vibes. The service and all the facilities were on point. The hosts Pankaj and Anjana made our stay absolutely streamlined. Coming to Kasol? Wanna have fun? Visit Hogwarts- the vibes are here for sure❤️

Very poor service and overall experience in this hostel. I booked a 5 bed room in this hostel, and I didn’t have much expectations because it’s cheap, but the service was worse than a dharmshala. When I went there were 2 staff members at reception and some helpers. We had a booking of 2 nights. When we reached, they took hours to get a room ready for us to check in, so we had to wait outside. Luckily there was a pool and foosball table so were able to somehow pass time. After we checked in the rooms they were fine, bunk beds, charging ports near beds and lockers for small backpacks. The first night was normal, no drama. Because we didn’t feel safe about this hostel, we packed all our stuff in the lockers and took the keys before leaving for tosh. The second day we went to tosh, did some trekking and when we returned our room was locked from the outside and we were unable to enter. They took some time but opened it with a spare key. After we entered the room, we saw the beds occupied by suitcases, clothes, accessories, that didn’t belong to us. Apparently because the staff didn’t “see our stuff in the room and they were too clean” they thought we checked out and gave our rooms to other people. They didn’t check their records that we had another day, and just assumed we left. They then were unable to assign us another room. There is no system to do anything, everything is unorganised and simply a mess. They also didn’t provide us with soap in the washroom to clean our hands. TLDR; This hostel will not provide you with anything other than beds, the staff are too high to even think properly and just assume things and if you don’t want your belongings stolen then book a proper hostel, not this pathetic excuse for a hostel.

An exceptional place to stay with great ambiance and friendly management. Rooms and washroom were very clean. Good hygiene and a safe place for girls.

This place is awesome to stay or chill or relax, really helpful and fun people to stay with specially people staying here for more than months. Pankaj host working as a volunteer made us feel like we just met yesterday hahahah. Do stay here
