The Hosteller Kasol, Riverside

I had a wonderful stay at Kasol Riverside. The location is perfect, right by the Beas River, offering breathtaking views and a peaceful ambiance. The food was delicious, with a great variety of options that catered to different tastes. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, ensuring we were comfortable and had everything we needed.||The café area was a highlight—cozy, well-maintained, and a great spot to relax while enjoying the riverside vibe. Whether you want to unwind with a book, sip coffee, or just take in the beautiful surroundings, it's the perfect place.||Overall, an amazing experience! Would highly recommend to anyone visiting Kasol. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Good location by the river, quite, ambience and infra is good. Tents and bathrooms are neat. Food service is really poor, thou the staff is polite but few issues - Food once ordered takes time- approx serving time was 40 minutes which is way too long for simple things like Coffee.. Breakfast was included but it is very limited, there communication gap between staff and cooks about portion sizes/food included etc. Lastly they have Glu app which is used for everything, thou it is very useful for folks who are tech savy but we had some friends who were old skool, hence they couldnt order food as they were forced to always open the app and order.

I had high hopes for Hosteller Riverside given its beautiful location, but unfortunately, the stay was not comfortable. The tents and rooms are not soundproof at all, and this should have been clearly mentioned in the listing. I could hear people talking outside and from nearby tents, which made it impossible to sleep properly for two consecutive nights. The property also feels a bit overpriced for the kind of comfort and privacy it offers. Another downside is their app-based system for ordering food or availing any facility. You have to place every order through the app, pay upfront, and the UPI payment even includes a convenience fee, which makes the whole process not just lengthy but also more expensive. Overall, not the kind of peaceful and seamless experience I was expecting. Wouldn't recommend it for light sleepers or those looking for a hassle-free stay.

Check in was quite smooth. The hosteller is quite picturesque. You can have your food ordered from their app. Though the food is quite expensive here. One plate of chole bhature was around 280. I don't know why it's so expensive. Maybe for the view because you can eat and hear the flowing of the Parvati river beside your seating arrangement. The property is exactly near the parvati river. They have dorm and tent facilities. Overall a wonderful experience. You can book only through their website. They don't take bookings on the spot. In the evening, the bonfire would be lit. Kasol Market is 700 metres from the property and also from the bus stop where you will get down from your overnight bus journey
