I had a memorable stay at goSTOPS. Rooms, cleanliness, views, location everything was perfect and the cherry on the cake was their staff behaviour, they were so calm, cooperative and well mannered. Next time whenever I come to Kasol, goSTOPS will be my go to place for a pleasent stay.

We booked a private room with premium balcony and had an amazing experience here. The reception guy was very sweet and helpful. Their app key tech really amazed me. Also, they have a perfect location and market, cafes are nearby.

My stay was mediocre overall, the place is accessible after climbing multiple flights of stairs, the rooms are clean & each bed has curtains for extra privacy. But the staff came inside our room unannounced without informing or knocking.

Had an amazing experience with go stops kasol. The view from the hostel is pretty much good. Compared to other properties Gostops kasol is providing us the best facilities.

I had a stay at Gostops Kasol on 30th Dec 2024 for Private Deluxe Double room , the experience was worst as there was absolutely no cleanliness and hygiene. The bathroom and toilet seat especially was so unclean. The room was not clean at all with dirt and used cigarettes every where. The worst part of the stay was there was no lights at night in this freezing cold environment.The heater was was also useless with no coverage of heat in the full room. The food also looked stale and processed. The way to reach Gostops were full of muddy steps. Overall, my experience was so bad that I would never recommend this place to anybody.

Pros 1. Hill view from hostel 2. Lockers and digital lockers to room which yes can only access 3. Common room and gaming facilities 4. Services and maintenance is good Cons 1. They are not changing the bedsheets once someone left they just cleaning keeping the last used one 2. Hostel on hill, so you need to climb more than 100 steps. If you’re with more luggage better take some other near by mainroad. No one come to help that luggage. 3. Staff rude behaviour is unacceptable 4. Checkout time is 10am only . There is no option for late checkout. You need to stay in common room only. 5. They are serving frozenfood. 6. They are not providing heaters in dom rooms. They providing it in coommn room and private room’s only 7. There is no proper lighting and clean at steps . If your coming late night and early morning you will get fukcud 8. Internet speed is coming only 10mbps and that is sharing between all. Please carry extra hotspots or something if your doing work from anywhere

goSTOPS Kasol was my first hostel experience and it was AMAZING. Easily the best among the three we tried - Kasol, Bir and Mcleodganj. The manager was amazing and quite helpful, the vibe was chill and I liked the fact their common room wasn't at the front door but in a separate area at the third floor. We celebrated my friend's birthday in the common room and it's a memory we'll cherish forever. Let's talk about the cons now. Food was okayish (it's the same at all hostels). While the location is overall good and super close to the main Kasol market / road, you'll need to walk up a gazillion stairs to reach the hostel (just kidding, but it is a chore). Given it's Kasol, everyone was drinking and smoking - I do neither - so I was annoyed at times. But everyone was fun to hang out with and you'll have a lot more fun if that's your vibe.
