Jungle by sturmfrei Manali

I spent a month at this hostel, and it was an awesome experience. The food was great, and the rooms were always clean and cozy. Plus, the mountain view from here is stunning– a perfect way to start each day. I met so many amazing people, and it really has that welcoming hostel vibe. Another big bonus is that there are plenty of tourist spots within walking distance, making it easy to explore the area. If you’re looking for a place with friendly faces, beautiful scenery, and adventure nearby, I’d highly recommend staying here.

I had an amazing stay at this hostel. The vibe was great and I met some really wonderful people here. The location is super convenient — a few tourist spots are just a short walk away and for other places, there’s easy access to autos nearby. The staff was friendly and the rooms were comfortable. I recently stayed at Jungle Sturmfrei and had an exceptional experience. The **service and facilities** were top-notch, truly deserving of a five-star rating. The **location** is very convenient, offering easy access to nearby attractions while still providing a peaceful retreat. The **food** was absolutely amazing, with the chicken masala being a standout dish. It was flavorful and perfectly cooked. Host **Ankit** was incredibly welcoming and attentive, making sure all guests felt at home. The **ambience** of the place is lovely, creating a perfect atmosphere for relaxation. I had booked a stay for 7days in Jungle by Sturmfrei which was recommended me by my friends. I would like say that this was my first experience to stay in hostel and I felt awesome staying here as the hospitality by the staff (Ankit bhai)offered and the volunteers (Aman bhai & Ampi) made our stay cheerful throughout our overall stay in this property having lots of fun. Cleanliness was top-notch throughout the hostel, including the dormitories and bathrooms. The beds were comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep after a day of adventure. I would highly recommend to stay in this property as its having an amazing view and rooms are maintained well even the dormitory were as good as a hotel room with an amazing host( Ankit Bhai) and helpful and cheerful volunteers helping us in anyway possible. I would say this is my best experience to stay in a property like this till date and a memorable one. Overall, jungle by sturmfrei is a gem in the mountains, providing the perfect base for outdoor enthusiasts seeking adventure.

Great location. I don’t like to complain but- Despite there’s everything you need- the room looks like it had been never renovated, or many years ago. Towel with holes in it. The electricity of the boiler dangerously attached. Plus, letting people make so much noise screaming the whole night at the public space, disturbing the sleep if there is any. While in most places there’s a silent time at night.. Been to much better places which costed half the price.

I had booked a stay for 6 days on the recommendation of a friend. While the property is in a great location there were certain misses for me 1. Hygiene. This is the biggest miss for me. The common areas on the ground floor were super dirty when we first came to the property. So much so that we chose not sit anywhere. Infact whenever we used to order food from them, it would not be cleared by them for sometimes an entire day 2. The narrow pathway leading up to the property is not at all well lit. These are small little things that matter 3. Certain basics like providing bottled water were missing as well. Despite us mentioning that we had booked a stay for 6 days we had received bottle only on the 1st day. Incase one needs more bottled water, be ready to pay up double the price The property is quite doable given the price point (for dorms which are tiny and not the room we took) and food they provide is also quite nice, but at the end, an average property and not one of the best options like some reviews claim
