This place is a must to stay if solo or couples are travelling here. You get value for money and most importantly you end up making lots of friends in this place. The place is easily accessible from the main road and has plenty of parking. For sharing they have 4 beds options which is very cosy and comfortable. The best part of staying here are people around you who match the vibe.

Had a wonderful time at Mitra Hostel, McLeodganj. The location is perfect—close to the town center yet tucked away in a peaceful setting, making it an ideal place to stay. It was an amazing experience, staff was warm and friendly ,rooms were clean and well-maintained, with all the amenities . The hostel also offers a great sense of community, with organized activities that allowed guests to interact . The location is perfect, close to key attractions yet tucked away in a peaceful neighborhood, providing the best of both worlds.

I had an amazing experience during my stay at Mitra Hostel, Mcleodganj. Everyone over there were so friendly and helpful. It was my solo trip but, I made quite a few friends during my stay. Especially, Nyima, the host you'll find at the desk is so friendly, interactive & empathetic too. Extremely satisfied. If I visit Mcleodganj again, this place would be my stay for sure.

Had the best time of my life in here. This was my first time staying in any hostel and This is much better than staying in any boring hotel or so. I met the interns named as Onkar Lahane and Miss shalu in there. They also merged with our group and make the stay and travel more fun and loving. The manager in here is so elegant and cute. She is so professional about her work. I am carrying the most valuable memories from this place and the people in here.

Very nice dorms located at a walkable distance from the center. The staff were friendly and the view from the terrace was great. The common area was superb where you could spend time watching movies on the projector.

Decent place but can be improved to be a top rated hostel in Mcleodganj. Pros: Early check-in was provided which was great Very near to the Mcleodganj bus stand - 10/15 minute walk Budget friendly stay View from the terrace was also great Reception girl(Neema) was great but other staff is not courteous You can also book 4 bed dorm for a group of friends if you are group and have it for yourself Cons: They ask for 50% payment for 2 day stay and 100% payment in advance for 1 day stay but their services are not upto the mark. No greetings from reception when we arrived at 8 am in morning..neither any help in telling us about common room and cafe.. For themselves,they put heater in common room in Dec but when we arrived till our check-in, they didn't do anything. In morning also at 8 am, we had to ask them to turn the heater on for water. Common washroom at the terrace is also not clean and you have to climb 2 floor if you didn't get your checkin

Wonderful Hostel to stay-from short to long stay I recently had the pleasure of staying at Mitra Hostel, Mcleodganj, Dharamshala during very recent visit, and I couldn’t be more satisfied with my experience. Location: The hostel is conveniently located , making it easy to explore the local attractions. It’s close to main landmarks and meditation centres. Room: My room and bed allotted was spacious, clean, and well-appointed with all the amenities I needed for a comfortable stay. Service: The staff were exceptional especially very friendly receptionist. From the moment I arrived, they were friendly, professional, and always willing to go the extra mile to ensure my stay was enjoyable. Special thanks to Nyima for their outstanding service. Overall Experience: My stay at the hostelwas truly memorable. The combination of a great location, comfortable accommodations, and top-notch service made it a perfect choice for my trip. I highly recommend Mitra Hostel-Solo Travelers to Family to anyone visiting Dharamshala.
