My room was clean, cozy, and tastefully decorated, with a stunning view of the surrounding landscape. I felt right at home the moment I stepped in. Disappointing Experience at Zostel – Not Worth the Hype My recent stay at Zostel was extremely disappointing. I had heard good things, but my experience was far from what was promised. Firstly, the staff was incredibly rude and unprofessional. From check-in to any interaction during the stay, they seemed indifferent and lacked any sense of hospitality. I felt like an inconvenience to them rather than a guest. Secondly, the lack of basic service was appalling. Rooms were not properly maintained, and any request for assistance was either ignored or met with reluctance. It felt like they were doing me a favor by addressing simple requests. The food was another low point—bland, poorly cooked, and overpriced for what was served. With such a high price tag, I expected at least decent meals, but it was honestly some of the worst food I’ve had at a hostel. Overall, I would not recommend Zostel based on my experience. There are far better options available at a similar price point with better service, food, and hospitality.

I had an exceptional stay at Zostel Shoja! From the warm welcome at check-in to the seamless checkout, my 15-day workation was an absolute delight. My room was spotless, and the washrooms were immaculately maintained. The staff's hospitality was outstanding, making me feel right at home. I was impressed by the delectable food options available at the cafe, offering a wide variety of dishes to suit every palate. But that's not limited you can explore different cafe's around the property. I was thoroughly impressed by the stunning views from the property! One of the highlights of my stay was enjoying the breathtaking sunsets from the common area, sipping on a cup of tea and taking in the natural beauty surrounding me. It was a truly serene and unforgettable experience. Special mentions to Tanu Bhaiya and Ankita (volunteer), who went above and beyond to make my stay truly unforgettable. Tanu Bhaiya's assistance with local transportation and exploration was invaluable, while Ankita's infectious energy and enthusiasm kept us all engaged with exciting activities and outings. Overall, my experience at Zostel Shoja was truly awesome, and I'm grateful for the wonderful memories and connections made during my stay. A huge thank you to the entire team for their exceptional service and warm hospitality!

Simply blown away by the breathtaking views, comfortable stay & fantastic food. Nestled in a picturesque location, the vistas at sunset are unforgettable. The meals were a delight, with fresh, locally sourced ingredients and a varied menu that kept every meal exciting. For a stay that pleases both the eyes and the palate, Zostel Shoja, is highly recommended!

Stay at Zostel Shoja was my first ever experience with Zostel and it was an exceptional experience. Food was amazing, at this height prices were reasonable. Staff at Zostel were also very friendly and were always ready to guide us with our itinerary since we planned this trip ourselves. Overall experience with zostel Shoja was great, will definitely explore more zostel in future.

A beautiful location with a great view and good staff. The common spaces both on ground floor and first floor are amazing. The washrooms are clean. I’d give it a 10/10 - considering it is in a slightly remote place yet the hospitality on point.
