Madpackers Khajuraho

Well placed in the center, but not too noisy. Great team that can arrange all your activities in the city, and food available if needed. We changed hotel at the last minute, they didn't mind and booked us a good clean room! A bit of dust in the corners, mainly in the bathroom, but nothing to make a fuss about :) Would recommend!

Rooms are pathetic..... for starters in the air-condition room the air-conditions don't work, there are stains of paan or gutkha or both in the corners of the room. The bathrooms are filthy without proper latching and basic toiletries like towels, soap are not provided. Let's come to Service, that's a domain unheard off here. The staff right from the reception, check-in to check-out are all pathetic, most of the time they are arrogant and sloshed and never available on the intercom. Everything has to be repeatedly followed up. The location is very inconvenient, have to go through bylanes to reach. All in all highly not recommended for stay.

We've stayed at several Madpackers locations and have always enjoyed our experiences, but unfortunately, our stay in Khajuraho fell short of expectations. Cons: 1. The bathroom cleanliness was subpar and made our stay uncomfortable (moldy, dirty, bad smells, very poor water pressure which was fixed after 2 days) 2. The rooftop is large but lacks seating, and there’s no common space, making it difficult to relax outside of the room. 3. The Wi-Fi signal was too weak to reach our room, forcing us to rely on mobile data. 4. The towels provided were stained, old, and didn’t dry properly due to limited hanging space in the room. Pros: 1. The bed was large and comfortable, with both AC and a fan. 2. The location is good—quiet at night and within walking distance of key attractions.

My trip to Khajuraho was wonderful overall, but my stay at Madpackers was disappointing. The room was not clean, and the washrooms were poorly maintained. To make matters worse, there was loud furniture work being carried out at midnight, which made it hard to get any rest.

Rooms were very nice, staff was super helpful, the shower didn't work (no water pressure) but they let us use another bathroom so they provided a solution

What a gem! Close to the western temples. Very quiet at night and the real star was... The BEST AC I've had in a hostel. The walls are painted with beautiful artwork, aesthetically this is a very pleasing building. Great hospitality from the owners and their staff. It was lovely sitting and talking to them about the area. If you're going to Khajuraho, stay here!!!

Very helpful and friendly staff, we easily rented a scooter to go to the waterfalls which was an awesome experience, good location of hostel

It was okay-okay but I think they have room for improvement based on maintenance and service. It is good but with the price to stay ratio it was not worth it.
